Exceptionally thoughtful staff with Beautifully designed rooms
When I first arrived, I was impressed by the service, from assisting with door opening to helping u with the luggage. It's worthy to note that the concierge is on the first level while the hotel lobby sits on level 88. From Level 88, you will go to your room levels of the executive lounge in another lift. I must mention, throughout my stay, there is no restriction in assessing the guest lifts, only until a certain time at night, you will need to be a registered guest.
From checking in to the getting our rooms, I must say the experience was very professional and friendly, offering to help at every juncture. Impressive. As we arrived early and room was not ready, we went for our tours before coming back again in the evening and was pleasantly delighted I was upgraded to the executive level.
The rooms at the executive level is spaciously large, with a good size toilet and a long bath. Toiletries given are of good standards and I must mention, there is a heated rung for you to hang your wet towels and by the next morning, they are all dry. The amenities provided in the room are very well thought and well designed.
We also had the opportunity to visit the lounge for dinner which provides decent and customised order noodles. The executive lounge provides afternoon tea from 3 to 5pm and dinner cocktails from 6 to 8pm. The place is huge and spacious with staff attending to your needs.
We did not use the fitness facilities but took time to take a look. One of the largest gym a hotel can provide with very fantastic overview of the city. The pool was reasonably sized, not small. The hotel also provide free lessons (yoga) on certain days of the week which must be prebooked.
When you get sick and tired of the meals (mainly International & Chinese), you can always walk out to the next shopping mall, Forum 66 and find various meal options there.
I had a little incident with ticketing for one of the local shows and I must say, Peter from the front desk is very helpful and assisted me to call the cinema, and navigated my WeChat app to retrieve the tickets. Not unexpected from a 5 star hotel, still heartwarming to receive assistance when you are foreign in a new city.
Overall, it is a very pleasant stay and if I do pass by Shenyang, this is definitely one of my favourite hotels to stay!

During my stay at Conrad Shenyang, I was extremely impressed by the excellence of Executive Lounge staff Luna/Cathy /Rachel. As a frequent flyer, I've visited many high-end hotels, but the professionalism and dedication shown by Luna/Cathy/Rachel truly translates into Conrad's "stay-in-inspired" brand.
Highlights of its services are in the following areas:
* Warm and keen insight: Luna/Cathy/Rachel always delivers the warmest greetings every time she walks into the lounge. Not only did she remember her guest's last name, she was more attentive to my personal preferences, and this "unspoken first-thought" service made me feel intimate in a foreign country.
* Friendly and sincere communication: A pleasant exchange with Luna/Cathy/RACHEL, who always has a natural smile and no sense of mechanized professionalism. Whether she's consulting on neighborhood play or handling trivial matters, she listens patiently and offers the most pertinent advice like a friend.
* Extreme execution: When I put forward some individual needs, Luna/Cathy/Rachel never prevaricates, but coordinates resources to the best of her ability to achieve them. Her "customer-centric" sense of mission not only solved my practical problems, but also made me feel the hotel's extreme pursuit of detail.
Luna/Cathy/Rachel's heartfelt enthusiasm and efficient work attitude greatly enhanced my residential experience on this trip to Shenyang. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the hotel management for Luna/Cathy/Rachel and hope that the hotel will recognize such an excellent staff!
