More attention required for a 4-star hotel.

Could have been a very good stay if there was not the confusion at check-in when we got to change room twice. We finally got upgraded to a slighlty larger room and receive a complimentary food platter. But most important we got a professional call from the reception to apologize for the confusion. Again, this hotel has good hardware but the bathtub in the room was not properly cleaned. It had some stains, that prevented me to enjoy a relaxing bath after a very hot day.
Location is very convenient, very close to Yangzhou East station and half an hour to 40 minutes from tourist landmarks downtown. For the those who do not want to go far away for meals, there is a small commercial hub with many restaurants and massage outlets about 10 minute walk.

The carpet is big and dirty, the hotel doesn't care! Is the off-season drill card only a promotion or a dirty room?

The first time I approached the IHG Group was this store, and probably the worst thing in all these years was this stay.
About the Guest Room
It's clearly off-season (and the rates can be seen), giving Diamond members only one upgrade, and it doesn't matter if they stay alone anyway.
However, the hotel had a meeting that day, and it was also arranged on the same floor as the participants, noise or something naturally inevitable, after all, the room was soundproofed very generally, which actually endured.
But it's totally unacceptable that the room carpet has such a large stain (see chart) that it's given to guests without cleaning it up, or to high-card members. I wonder what the director of housing thought.
About the Lounge
After the lounge was put on the first floor, the volume was obviously too small, and the good thing is that the staff were very nice in their service attitude, and it was quite hard to see.
It's the configuration of this liquor, about equal to nothing.
Afternoon tea and HH fruit is perfunctory, with a green radish that I usually like to eat, but the lounge radishes are almost dry into dried radishes.
The cupcakes in the lounge, though average, are stronger than what's on offer at this store buffet.
The HH dish of the day consisted of eryngium mushroom denim bones, curry hotpot balls, coo meat, freshly fried vegetables, dried silk soup, and three cold dishes with fries. To be sure, at CP level, HH is a decent dish.
Not to mention the direct delivery of self-help on weekends, although I think they're really bad at it right now, and if they're willing to add a meatloaf to the lounge, they might as well stay in the lounge and figure it out (laughs).
Besides, the parrots at the door were well kept and the hotel named them after each other, and I tease a bird called Nafu every time I come.
About breakfast
Pretty average, breakfast hot dish all vegetarian. There's not much to choose from when pasta is served.
There are some local features, more cashew soup or something, noodles can be and the master to dry mix noodles, dry mix noodles and cashew soup is indeed a local CP, but friends from outside the country may not accept that soup, dry mix noodles and Chiang Jiaqiao and so on is not much different.
About Parking
Half of the underground car park is double-decker, which is a real hardship given the size of the current car.
On the other side, although it is a traditional parking space, there are fewer spaces and fewer.
After the hotel entered the entrance control, if you don't go down to the underground parking lot, you can also park on the side of the road marking spaces, need to walk a little way, is not convenient.
I can't. Just pull over, but it's not recommended.
About traffic
If I'm a tourist, this store wouldn't be working without the IHG and downtown HIX.
It's a 20-minute taxi ride from the city's main attractions.
There is absolutely no point in choosing.
[Overall review] The staff's overall service attitude is very good, but the front desk department has really lowered the level of service
Rooms with such serious hygiene problems and visible at a glance were given to guests so directly that it could not be said. And afterwards no one at the hotel took any form of explanation or apology.
It's been a good two years, anyway, it's been a one-man stay, lazy more intense complaints.
But if it's an out-of-town tourist coming to Yangzhou, I advise you to choose carefully or spray it.

Feels dated, I’ve been staying here for 10 years and nothing has changed/ been updated in that space of time. The western food options used to be good but definitely lacking now. Rooms are fine but just feels a bit tired especially for the price.

I appreciate the thoughtful care from 王子涵 before my stay. The receptionist, a pretty girl, was also very helpful and upgraded me to a lake-view room. The hotel facilities are excellent, and all the staff provided warm and attentive service, parking is convenient, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options. For those who love 扬州包子 , you can take them to go, and the coffee is also available for takeaway. I look forward to my next visit！
