Very average

We visit this hotel every year as we have friends who come from the uk for a holiday. The beach is a private bay and is really good. I always find the staff very friendly and helpful. The reception is competent and polite but unfortunately that is where the good bits end.
This year we had a twin room instead of a double, not sure why. The single beds are very narrow and not very comfortable. The room was okay for a weekend as we spend very little time in there. I wouldn’t want to stay longer as there is very little storage space.
The food is not very good at all. Breakfast is the same every day and year on year. In a country that has fantastic citrus fruits I am not sure what the fruit juice is. This Friday evening the dinner was really good. The best meal I have had there but unfortunately it did not last and Saturday it was back to the dreadful cold tasteless normal. Sweets are another thing that are the same night on night and year on year.
I wouldn’t recommend the hotel and only visit as our friends like it.

Great Beach and outdoor Restaurant

We always go to Denizkizi beach for a swim and to eat at the outdoor Restaurant. Cost 20TL for your Sunbed and Umbrella, but the sandy beach is great to swim at and very safe for children. The owners have the hotel and also a restaurant chain which explains why the food is so great.

Lovely beach

This is a beautiful beach, clean water, and even when it's busy it never feels crowded.
Not far from bus stop, only about 5 minutes' walk.
Entrance is 20 TL at time of writing, which gives you a deck chair, parasol, access to shower, changing rooms and toilets. If you pay TL 30 you also have access to a beautiful swimming pool.
Small fast food outlet on site.
I love this beach.

OVER PRICED AND PENNY PINCHING.

I was leaving North Cyprus for good after living there for a number of years and having sold my house I booked into Deniz Kizi Hotel for a restful break before returning to the UK. The service at the hotel was well below average and the food was little short of diabolical. Breakfast, which was included, consisted of eggs, more eggs and yet more eggs with a little cheese, the evening meal was fatty and gristly chicken wings and no choice if you didn't like them. I asked for a cup of hot water with my evening meal and was told that I would have to pay for it as all drinks were extra. I had asked about holding on to the room a little longer on my last day and was told this was not a problem but when the last day came around I was informed that fifty pounds was required for the three extra hours! The rooms were dingy and shabby and the whole experience a little seedy.
Almst everywhere else in Cyprus I have met with high standards of service and friendliness, but not at the Deniz Kizi where the order of the day seems to be "Fawlty Towers" where every penny would be extracted from every guest and personal service was almost non existent. I would never go again and never recommend it to anyone. There are a whole lot of places a whole lot better than this nightmare.
