The site is spectacular

Hello,
The welcome was very pleasant, the rooms were comfortable to take advantage of the view, there are hammocks, a net, a pool and chairs. Well, it has a common kitchen too!
I loved the place, I was there for 10 days and had no regrets.

Bugs and rudeness

Although the views are nice, there are two things that totally ruined our experience.
First, the bugs. At night they come out and cover literally everything: our bed linen, kitchen utensils, the floor of our room and bathroom, our clothes, inside the backpacks… so disgusting!
Second, the owner. A young woman was polite, but the older woman was completely rude to us. Unbelievable that she is in charge of the place!
We’ve been 6 weeks in Colombia and never had such experience an before, in both aspects.

Amazing views

Once you have walked the 1km steep hill in the middle of the night... you do not want to leave. Amazing views, pool, very friendly atmosphere, nice dorm of 10, excellent food when requested but not included, Liliana has an amazing property, fell in love with baby Dylan!

Hidden paradise away from the craziness of Taganga

Hostal Casa Horizonte is a great hostel located at the highest point of the Taganga Bay - which granted us with one of the best views we've had in a long time!
The hike up is very steep (I almost lost my stepmom on the way ) and unpractical (be ready to carry your luggage ) but the reward is absolutely worth it: very nice staff, swimming pool to refresh, multiple floors with all kind of rooms (private, dorms...), cooking facilities or restaurant on the terraces...
In a nutshell, it's a hidden paradise away from the craziness of Taganga - yet so close from it.

Very bad experience

The accommodations are okay but the staff completely took advantage of me, be careful with your money. They charged me 6mil per kilo and weighed my clothes when they were wet and charged me 65mil for 3.5 kilos. They argued with my girlfriend and called her a be prostitute! I would definitely never give them my business again
