A must-stay boutique hotel in Busan

Stayed here twice (2023 and 2025). The owner's love for the local community was shared through the carefully created custom objects displayed in the rooms: from the drip coffee, the vinyl player, to the guest books and post cards.
The room was clean. The heat worked well. Free local beer and snacks in the fridge. Remember to spend some time in the room to experience the slow living concepts. The rooftop offered good views.
No more breakfast as of December 2025. No safe in the room – could be a future improvement.

"If you're looking for a unique stay in Busan, this is it. The attention to detail at Good Ol’ Days is incredible. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is relaxing and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and felt very 'one-of-a-kind.' We especially loved the complimentary basket filled with local snacks and the high-quality coffee beans provided for in-room brewing. It felt like a true local experience rather than just a standard hotel stay. Highly recommend!"

My favorite boutique hotel in Busan. Amazing service and rooms. Coffee shop downstairs is great as well.

A hotel you don’t want to leave!

We stayed here for three nights on a recent visit to Busan, and we thoroughly enjoyed time at this wonderful hotel, which has a very special feel. Guests are encouraged to take a moment out to make a drip-filter coffee, listen to a vinyl record, and maybe write a postcard. It’s different, and very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
Our room was a beautifully light and spacious corner room, with large windows, and views of Busan Tower. It was very comfortable, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and furnished. All the little extras like snacks, drinks, stationary, and nice toiletries added to the overall ‘good living’ vibe, and were very much appreciated and enjoyed.
The hotel is in very nice location, within reasonable walking distance of Busan Tower, shops, markets, restaurants, and bars. But the area is quite hilly, so be prepared for plenty of steps!
We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, and would have no hesitation in recommending it to someone who wanted a unique and enjoyable place to stay in Busan.

Wish I could've stayed longer!

The title says it all. :) Extremely popular small (9 rooms, I think) in an old neighborhood of Busan. Even though it was in a more touristy part of the city, and I thought I might have a fitful sleep because of the noise, it was very quiet! Staff are very kind and helpful, and provided service that you expect more from upper budget chains (Hyatt, Lotte, etc.) I had dropped off my luggage earlier in the day, and when I came back to check in, they let me know that they had already put my luggage in my room! Also, when I sprained my ankle, they gave me an extra ice pack for the evening as well as some kind of pain relief cooling spray to use.
The room was very comfortable, and truly was made for relaxing. From the design (I love the hunter green and wood), the amenities (record player! coffee from local shops marks and Momo's!, stationery supplies!), to the bedding (mattress was great for my back!), notebooks with thoughts from previous guests (funny/nostalgic to read!), and a guidebook to local exploration, I really wish I could've stayed longer than one night.
Unfortunately, breakfast is no longer offered to guests. However, they do operate a cafe on the ground floor (where guests are offered two complimentary Americanos), and there are also a number of eateries in the immediate vicinity.
