Sleeping in the center of Seoul without having to sell a kidney.

This hostel is a rarity; it is in an excellent location (just steps from Myeongdong), it is very well connected to both the center and Namsan (so great if you want to visit the park and the tower) and has an affordable price.
The area is full of places (in pure Myeongdong style) and convenience stores.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, check-in was quick, and check-out was self-service.
They do not clean the rooms (which is quite common in Korea), but fresh towels are always available at the reception.
They also have a luggage storage at the entrance and a common room in the basement, which includes a kitchen and a well-equipped laundry, as well as a photo set (!!!) themed around medieval Korea (see photo)...
The street it is on is slightly uphill, which requires dragging luggage from the subway for about 200 meters.
Even when calling a taxi, it is better to move to the main street Toegye-ro, because the side street is one-way, and vehicles must take a ridiculous detour to reach the hotel entrance.

The staff were extremely helpful and very proficient in English. The rooms it self were very clean and the beds comfy. The shower was in a bit of an awkward position however was a good temp and pressure. The bathroom itself was in a clear box within the room which makes you get real cozy with whoever you’re staying with! The hostel was situated just off Myeong-dong not too close for all the noise but very convenient to all the food, shopping and metros. Overall was a very pleasant stay and would come again.

2nd time staying here as i like the location as well as the hospitality. Reception isn't 24hrs but you can message them for details to check in outside the working hours. Abit of an inclination up from myeongdong station but it works fine.
They upgraded my room this time that is supposed to fit 3 pax but the double bed isn't much difference from the single bed.

Great location in the tourist center - surprisingly quiet at night, just 2 minutes from the metro with 24/7 grocery stores nearby.
The rooms are very small but reasonably priced. Note: The bathroom is in the room with only a glass partition, which made things humid.
Helpful amenities include a washer/dryer and shared kitchen for quick meals. Staff were polite.
Minor downside: The towels are small and worn - the hotel should really replace them
