Good address for a stay in Abidjan

Pleasant and functional room. Well renovated and properly equipped residence. Very good breakfast and possibility of dinner. Nice swimming pool. Good neighborhood in Abidjan, two Planteau Vallons in the commune of Cocody. .............

Great discovery

A very interesting experience in the company of very available and very courteous staff. I loved the swimming pool and the garden. A calm and relaxing place. The renovated studios (ground floor and first floor) were to my taste with fun shower cabins. The meals at the restaurant are delicious, my friends and I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend it to people looking for calm and relaxing stays, both for work and for a sober vacation. Although the location makes it easy to reach the hot spots of Abidjan. Also supermarkets, other shops and banks very close.

Time for a make-over

The staff at this establishment, including the restaurant, are attentive and polite and do their job well. The laundry service, for which you pay 10 000 fcfa per week per person is very good. I appreciated the mosquito nets on some of the windows.
My gripes are with the accommodation itself, which may have had a certain charm 20 to 30 years ago, but which now needs some serious attention. Our apartment was dark and only the bedroom was well-ventilated. Workmanship on tiles, lights and other fixtures is shoddy and I felt that the whole apartment needed a jolly good scrub from wall to wall and everything in between. The fridge hadn't been defrosted in ages and was thick with ice in the small freezer co;partment. The matress was very tired indeed. When you sat on it, the toilet seat swung to the side. I asked for it to be repaired, but it wasn't.
On several occasions, we were awakened late at night by people ltalking loudly as they left the adjacent restaurant. The breakfasts at the restaurant were scanty, with slithers of over-ripe fruit, and I would estimate that you probably eat about 1 000 fcfa worth of food but are charged 5 000 fcfa. I enjoyed the vegetarian dinner I had there, but the beer we were served was flat.
To sum up; this is a jaded and faded place which I found overpriced. If this is rated as a three-star establishment on some sites, I beg to differ.

Good location

I preferred to stay in the rooms close to the swimming pool. If you need to stay long is a good place, cleaned and the laundry service is fine as well. The staff is very friendly and the price is fine for the standard that you receive. For eventual problematic speak only with the manager ( the lady) because the husband is not an easy person. I stayed in February 2017 for a month
