Lorenzo, the hero

We did not stay at this hotel, but I had to give a review.
Booking.Com had double booked our room. When we arrived Lorenzo, the boss, couldn't help us enough.
He found another hotel for us, and also, the car hire at the airport from Europcar had also been double booked, again Lorenzo helped us find a car.
Just a great guy who helped us out for no financial gain.

Charming stay marred by dangerous actions of shuttle driver

We stayed at the hotel at the beginning and end of our trip to Costa Rica. Considering how convenient it is for the airport the hotel grounds are very rural with trees and a pond attracting plenty of birds. The restaurant is good, popular with local office workers at lunchtime. There is a bird feeder near the restaurant tables which is fun to watch.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with efficient air conditioning.
The only negative point was the airport transfer when we were going home. The driver when we arrived was charming and welcoming. However, at the end of our holiday we had a different driver for the shuttle. He wasn’t particularly friendly and spent the entire trip talking on his mobile phone, with it held in his hand. This is rather rude to the passengers but more importantly it isn’t safe. Such a shame, as until then the stay at Hotel Robledal had been excellent.

Excellent hotel near airport

Very nice and spacious room overlooking pool. Hotel and grounds spotlessly clean. Quiet environment around the hotel apart from planes passing overhead but not a big issue at night as seem to stop late evening. Lovely birds to spot in the garden. Relaxing 2 night stopover after a Costa Rica tour before returning home. Good aircon and wifi. Nice breakfast.

Recommended!

Nice hotel, in the city, yet in nature! Friendly staff and friendly staff. Recommended! Breakfast is fresh and sufficiently extensive. Near the airport (unfortunately you hear this sometimes at night). We are back when we would like to stay in the neighborhood again.

A hotel that offers a greener model

A stunning hotel located just 15 minutes from the airport. A company concerned with limiting the ecological impact of its activities (e.g. waste management) and whose territory is included in a regional green corridor for biodiversity. Warm welcome and excellent food. I'm coming back.
