Community and relaxing atmosphere

Relaxing atmosphere, small refreshing pool, a few steps from the beach, it is the paradise of surfers (boards available for borrowing). Communal cuisine and community atmosphere. We were a family with an 8-year-old child and we were clearly wrong with the vibe of young twenty-somethings who came to party there, but super respectful.

Lovely location, people and facilities (bedroom, kitchen etc.). Great for people who want to cook for themselves.

Came here for a week with family. Excellent location close to beach and restaurants, shops but still quiet. Lovely staff and welcome. Great room with very comfortable bed and nice shower, very clean.
Very good kitchen and cooking facilities with supermarkets nearby. Good WiFi and lounge with television.
Garden is a bit small and there was a slight smell of sewage on the ground floor near our room (I think, due to the drainage system). Therefore suggest you ask for a room on the 1st. Floor.
The other guests were nice and it seemed secure.
Would have given 5 stars, but for the smell.

Cockroaches and no refund

It's obvious this place is mismanaged. I slept a night in my car after feeling uncomfortable in my room due to roach activity. I WhatsApped the front desk as instructed by their MANY signs on their front desk (it's a little absurd). I was continuously told to text back later because they weren't the right person to talk to or that they couldn't do anything for me. They literally just replied to my messages with sad face emojis....so unprofessional. I was refused a refund because of a 48 hour cancellation policy through Bookings.com...really? I wouldn't have to cancel last minute if there weren't cockroaches in my BED. Stay across the street at Tropical Dominical. Much nicer and nice owners.

Cute place, comfortable and not too expensive

We stayed for 5 nights at cool vibes and it worked fine. It is a hostel so it's not 5 star, but it was clean and comfortable. We met many people there and the common space was comfortable. It's literally steps to the beach, so that was a plus. And everything was walkable to town.

They sold our reserved room for higher price because of on going Music festival

I booked my room , used credit card for payment ,got confirmation number ,arrived to hostal . I was told my reservation cancelled because my credit card is invalid.
Total lie . My credit card was active . That was thier way to bring excuse and cancell my reservacion .
They do this dirty trick

Hola, Thank you for your review.
Invalid credit card are automatically reported by booking.com. When a credit card is detected as invalid, booking.com send a notification to request you to update your credit card information within 24hrs. The second option which is suggest is to prepaid the first night with PayPal. Unfortunately, we didn t have any news after 48hrs and had to cancel your reservation.
We haven t sell your room reserve to higher price. We are sorry for the inconveniences.
