Exceptional Stay Every Time

I’ve stayed at Adventure Inn multiple times now, and I can’t recommend it enough. This summer alone, I led a team of students there twice during our mission trips to Costa Rica, and my family also stayed there on vacation. Every stay has been excellent.
The rooms are always incredibly clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff is one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back—they’re genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with whatever we need. Traveling with a large group of students can be challenging, but they made everything easy and treated our entire team so well.
The pool and hot tub are a great place to relax after a long day of traveling, and the property is beautiful, safe, and conveniently located near the airport.
If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with outstanding customer service, Adventure Inn is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be staying here again on future trips to Costa Rica!

We are blessed with some of the nicest student groups this time of year, super chaparones, the kids have fun but don't interfere with regular guests, amazingly polite, we expanded some meals to part of the pool deck or our solarium if it's raining, it seems to be working out famously! Thank you for giving us a chance, see you next year!

Cute and family friendly

What a lovely little hotel! Cute, quirky, clean, comfortable. It had everything we needed for a couple days in San Jose. The pool and hot tub were great and the restaurant was awesome. Staff was very sweet and helpful. Our three year old had a wonderful time hanging at the pool and watching the fish pond. Close to the airport and an easy taxi ride downtown. Several restraints and a grocery store a 10 minute walk down the road.

Thank you for the stellar review. Kids love the fish pond, I usually see if there are any kids around who want to feed the fish around 8 am each morning. Often the big black suckers come to the surface and go upside down so you can put the fish pellets in their mouth, and they suck the nourishment out, unable to swallow, it's quite entertaining. Come back soon!

Charming family friendly hotel with incredibly kind staff! Stay here for ease of access to the airport

We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Its location near the airport was incredibly convenient, and the complimentary airport shuttle made our arrival and departure completely stress-free.
What truly set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality. The owner was so kind and even took the time to let my son feed the goldfish, which became one of the highlights of his trip. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated every request with genuine warmth and kindness.
The included breakfast was outstanding. Large, freshly prepared, and filled with the most delicious tropical fruit you could have. The coffee was excellent and the perfect way to start each day.
The pool and hot tub were another highlight. They were perfect for both kids and adults, and quickly became our favorite place to relax after a day of exploring. By the end of the trip, my son had befriended an entire yoga retreat of ladies and somehow convinced them all to do cannonballs with him in the pool. Watching that unfold was priceless and speaks to the welcoming, friendly atmosphere of the hotel.
Despite traveling during the rainy season, the staff helped us find fantastic excursions and activities, ensuring we made the most of our time in Costa Rica. Their local knowledge and willingness to help made a huge difference in our experience.
From the comfortable accommodations to the outstanding service, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to Costa Rica!
A special thank you to everyone at Adventure Inn who helped my little blond, curly-haired 5-year-old fall in love with Costa Rica. The kindness you showed him, and me, made this trip truly unforgettable.

Make sure you have a good hill vehicle or are used to driving up very steep gravel roads!

Always our favorite stay as a family. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and welcoming!
The pool is a huge plus, a nice little area for smaller kids, plus the hot tub for when it’s chilly out!
The food is also always so delicious, and the free breakfast is a can’t miss!
