A warm clean welcoming home for a good price!
What was by a fine and especially clean! place.
Where shall I start? There are so many good points! Too many to mention!
Agnes speaks, French, Spanish, English fluently and a few words of German. She is clear and knows a lot about the environment. You've got a guide! And she's got you a card me if you want to walk.
But whatever else you experience she speaks the language of the heart. She has heart for the animals, her quiet dog, but also for the monkeys for which she has stretched extra ropes that eat the mangoes in the garden at night. The birds that get extra cat kibble here and there and she also knows a lot about the turtles and has contact with the organization that protects these animals.
That's why we got to see the turtles too! ✨ So cool! She made sure of that.
And don't forget her heart for people. She respects your space and yet the atmosphere in the casa is warm and welcoming.
There is a public terrace with kitchenette and where you can grab drinks, and there is always tea and coffee. You can pick mangoes from the garden.
Breakfast is very generous with plenty of choice. The rooms are clean and you get enough towels and you can have them replaced. Every day everything is cleaned and your bed made. The terrace and pool too! The sunbeds are here,
We could also watch World Cup football in the room.
In short warmth, tranquility, lots of information if you want, clean and a big warm heart ♥️ is palpable and visible! Nowhere more cozy than here!

Pure nature and family
An absolute dream of this B&B! We had the “Tukan” room with private terrace and view into the trees. Highly recommended. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and after only 3 nights we said goodbye as if to good friends with a hug. Agnes and Joe have created a paradise. Where others would have grubbed up to build more houses, they created a buffer and preserved nature. We were able to experience the reward for this on all three days. Nose bears pass just below the terrace. The daily highlight, however, are the howler monkeys, which shimmy past the pool, or rest. Or enjoy the mangoes from the trees.
Another highlight is the morning and rich breakfast at a large table together with Agnes and Joe. Wow! By far the best breakfast during our holiday.
The beach is a good 10 minutes walk. But who doesn't like lying by the pool while a monkey gang shimmies by. You don’t have to go to the many national parks for that.

A great place to stay! Loved it!
We stayed three nights and enjoyed the whole experience and location. The owners are incredible people. Clean room, Beautiful views, a pool tons of nature around including monkeys. There was a great breakfast every morning and they were so helpful with all of our questions. I definitely recommend folks to stay here. Great price too.

Breakfast at Villa Mango is like a second home! Agnes takes care of all guests like a mother!
Agnes is a fantastic host! Villa Mango is a lovely B&B close to the sea.

DON'T GO! We had an experience of violence and severe disrespect
What a belittling disaster! And those are incredibly kind words considering our experience.
We had THE most horrifying experience imaginable when the owner, Joe reached out and grabbed my wife's wrist. He confronted her on our second morning, wanting to know if she was still mad at him from his previous day's antics. She put up her hand to signal "stop" and he grabbed her wrist. That's when I was awoken. I was sleeping in my room when I heard Elena screaming over and over that he had grabbed her. I jumped out of bed and up to the deck where I found Elena panicking, with Joe's wife, Agnes, and Agnes apologizing to her and me over and over again.
The previous days "antics" as I've referred to them involved Elena breaking a ceramic mug poolside. She immediately found a broom and swept the pieces over the closest edge, to get them out of harm's way as quickly as possible. Joe spotted her from a distance and began screaming wildly at her, calling her "subhuman" and other choice words. She offered again and again to do whatever she could to make the situation better but all Joe would offer in response was that she was an irresponsible liar. When I confronted him to try to calm him down, I was told that I was insulting him.
Joe is evidently mentally ill and cannot justifiably be in a position where he encounters strangers each day. He is violent, aggressive and downright rude. Even upon our departure, Elena left him with few last words and all he could mutter, other than that he was going to call the cops. was that we had both insulted him. To say the very least, our experience at Villa Mango was atrocious!!
