Great location

We booked the two bedroom apartment on the first floor. It was fully furnished and equipped, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, cooker, coffee making machine, kettle, TV and air con in the lounge. The bedrooms are a double and a twin. There are French doors out onto a balcony at the side with a table and chairs. The apartment is a little dated, but was clean and functional. There is hanging space for the washing too at the entrance to the flat. The garden is large and has a purpose built BBQ area. I think there are 3 flats there in total. We were the only ones who used the BBQ that week. There is secure ample parking with electric gates. The owner and manager of the apartments spoke English and was very helpful. The apartment is ideally located for the old town of Porec. Within 100m from the apartment there were quiet bars and a sandwich shop. Beyond these you are walking into the centre of the old town and the coast. There is a decent sized supermarket about 5 minutes walk away. It also has free wifi. The only negatives are the noise from the squawking seagulls and the traffic in the early hours. Oh and take your mosquito repellent!

Good apartment close to old town

We stayed in a ground floor apartment at Villa Herak. First impressions were not great as the apartment looked old and tired. However after a day we realised that it was roomy, clean, everything worked and we had a big terrace to ourselves. We also had secure private parking. The air conditioning did it's job - and it was needed as the temperature was around 32 degrees most days.
One annoyance was that payment is cash only - no credit cards. The room safe was a joke - not fixed and lightweight so it could easily be carried out of the apartment. That's about it for moans.
The villa is a 5 minute walk to the old town and the marina/beachfront. Loads of shops, restaurants and cafes. There is a huge variety of boat trips on offer and we would recommend the trip to Lim fiord and Rovinj. We also took a water taxi (5 minutes duration) to Valamar, where there are 5 beaches and a good snack restaurant. If you have a car we'd also recommend a trip to Motovun and Groznjan hilltop villages.
In summary - if you want to be in the old town Villa Herak is a great choice, but don't expect a state of the art apartment.

Ottimo soggiorno a Parenzo

Ottimo soggiorno a Parenzo. Appartamento pulito e con i confort descritti. Parcheggio privato e titolare molto disponibile. Bagno molto spazioso, doccia perfetta. Siamo stati molto bene e pur essendo centrale la zona non è molto rumorosa. Qualità prezzo ottima.

Výborné

Vynikajúca dovolenka, lokalita je úžasná, priamo pri historickom centre, ale už v kľudnej časti. Parkovanie v súkromnom dvore. Hneď kúsok je veľká tržnica, niekoľko pekárni, zmenarni a vlastne všetko potrebné. Vybavenie a čistota sú na jednotku. Veľmi príjemní majitelia, poradia, pomôžu. Na pláž je to pešo asi 7 min,auto sme za týždeň ani nevytiahli z dvora. :-D

ottimo!

Pulito, carino, vicino alla spiaggia, spazioso, proprietari sempre disponibili, economico. Insomma ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
Se proprio si vuole trovare una pecca la cassaforte che non funzionava.
