Amazing family resort

Just returned from a fantastic 10 night stay at Valamar Diamant. Outside space is simple perfect for families a range of different pools and slides for all ranges. Oliva restaurant is great for lunchtimes special shout out to Mihal who was super friendly and helpful. Half board restaurant was fine good selection of different foods at breakfast and lunch. Had a junior suite level 8 - little bit tired but that is minor as we spent such little time in our room as we were having such a good time. Though told the hotel internally is having a refurb after this season. 10-15 minute walk into Porec old town and 5 min taxi to Aquacolors water park.
Would happily return again.

Almost perfect.not so good food

Positive
.pool with or without waterark for big and small kids
.relaxation place

.bathrooms adapted for people with disabilities
.big and modern rooms
.cleaning service exceptional
.reception great
.water available at reception
.although the beach is mainly with rocks,there are manny atractions for them not to be bored:hidrobicicles with slides,jetsky,boats,padles/sup,banana-ufo ,bicicles
.there is a train that goes to Porec city
...it is almost perfect!

.restaurant Oliva is closing early.we have missed some outside options when watching the world football championship:)
.food at hotel restaurant is correct,you have a lot to choose from ,but is tastless ..and lacks the love in the food:)this is the main reason why i am giving a 4 (not 5 star review)

Lovely resort for a family vacation.

We had a lovely family holiday. The hotel has many amenities including an indoor pool and well-equipped gym. The outdoors are beautiful with 3 pools and slides surrounded by trees and nature. The food is excellent and varied and the staff are all very friendly and helpful!
The only negative are that the rooms are in need of refurbishment.
Highly recommend family vacation resort!

Negative experience

I returned to the Valamar Diamant after a few years. Unfortunately, I must acknowledge that it was a terrible idea. Upon arrival, we realize that there are ongoing construction works for an expansion and that the pool cannot be used; furthermore, the road to the sea partially goes through a construction site. In addition to this inconvenience, which is not mentioned when booking, on the night of May 31, after heavy rain, it starts to rain in the room. At 3 in the morning, we are forced to move to another room, first to one two floors down that was not clean, and finally to another room on the first floor where we stayed until the next morning. Considering that it is declared as a 4-star hotel, I would say it is not the best and is unacceptable. I acknowledge that they offered us a discount, but it does not compensate for the inconvenience caused to us.

Desideriamo porgerLe le nostre più sincere scuse per tutti i disagi riscontrati durante il soggiorno. Comprendiamo perfettamente la Sua delusione nel trovare i lavori di ristrutturazione in corso, con le limitazioni all'utilizzo della piscina e i disagi lungo il percorso verso il mare. Siamo inoltre profondamente rammaricati per l'inconveniente causato dall'infiltrazione d'acqua nella notte del 31 maggio e per i successivi cambi di camera che hanno inevitabilmente compromesso il Suo riposo e il comfort della vacanza.
Comprendiamo che un'esperienza di questo tipo non corrisponda agli standard che i nostri ospiti si aspettano da un hotel a quattro stelle, né a quelli che ci impegniamo a garantire. Sebbene sia stato applicato uno sconto come gesto di scuse, comprendiamo che ciò non possa compensare completamente i disagi vissuti durante il soggiorno.

The best hotel in Porec

I had a wonderful stay at Valamar in Poreč and would happily return. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and only a short walk from the beautiful old town. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with any questions. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious food, so there was something for everyone. The pool area was relaxing, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a holiday. I highly recommend this hotel to families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in Croatia.
