We are satisfied!

Weell... after reading some previous reviews, I concluded that in the meantime the hotel underwent a substantial improvement.
We came after four years and we're pleasantly surprised: the beds are new, furniture as well, everything was clean and in order.
The food was very good, portions enormous (for lunch). Dinner was self service, reasonable choice. And, what is good: fresh water is served in one-liter bottles.
The pools and sauna area also clean, the rest room pleasant & quiet. Both operating till 10 p.m.
The staff very polite, from the receptionists to waiters, pool staff and cleaners, everybody.
The only two remarks/suggestions: - the wardrobe in the room cannot be bigger, but a shelf inside would be helpful; - we would like to have some fruit for breakfast as well.
The proce is affordable for us pensioners, too.
We plan to come again.

Horrible

We had 3 rooms. In all three rooms, there was no hot water. When we reported this at the reception, they told us to keep the water running in the shower for at least 20 minutes before taking a shower, and then hot water would come. Seriously?
One of the rooms was full of ants.
Dinner is served until 9 PM. We arrived at 7:45 PM, and the buffet was almost empty, with only leftovers remaining, and there were no main dishes left. They did not replenish the food, even though we mentioned it and they could see that the containers were empty. We were left without dinner.
Their response was that "it is what it is," and they hoped it would be better the next day.
We know this isn’t a 5-star hotel, but these are basic things… unfortunately, never again.

God no!

Don't know where to start. Hotel smells!!! In the loby they tried to cover the smell with some cheap air freshener so it smells even worse. Everything is like you entered 1980 but noone tried to repair anything since then. Tablecloths in restaurant are dirty. It's like they change it once a week. Dinner is from 19 till 21 but we came at 20 and was no desserts left. Some of the food was also eaten. Noone came to refeel any of that. Noone even came to see if anyone needs anything. When guests finished their dinner the tables were left dirty for an hour. We literally had no table to sit that was clean and had cutlery on it. Not one time did any weiter said hello. Saunas have "relaxing zone" where there is no place to sit, god forbid lie down. Telephone in the room is probably just for fun. The wire is cut of and it hangs behind the night stand. Curtons is better if you don't touch. If you go to wellnes and don't want to go through dinner hall, you can go through some kind of corridor which looks like basement of hospital during the war. In conclusion, this place had to be shut down years ago by sanitary inspection.

Horror story. Don't go under any circumstances.

Read till the end! TERRIBLE is an embellished version of the comments after spending the weekend in this horror hotel. Except for the friendly receptionist and the employees who work at the entrance to the pools, I have absolutely not a single nice word to say. The hotel is ancient, absolutely unmaintained, dirty, smelly and I don't understand how it is still open at all, and especially how it has visitors. The rooms are DESPERATE, but really desperate. Very small, one outlet (in our case completely brown and burnt), curtain rods half torn out, hanging from the ceiling, curtains (that is, those pieces of smelly, dirty rags that should be curtains) accordingly. The ceiling light is broken, half of it is missing/fallen off. Unvacuumed floor, dust everywhere. Beds?! It would be better if we lay down on the floor to sleep than this 10 cm of misery that maybe once could be called a mattress, but now it is a pile of material and springs. The pillows are maybe even worse. Lumps of something inside the pillow case. It's an understatement to say that we didn't sleep most of the night. The bathroom is tiny, the door of the shower cabin is torn, the sink is the size for children, as well as the area in front of it - an adult cannot even approach it because there is about 20 cm between the wall and the shower cabin. There is a torn board on the toilet, water from the kettle splashes half a meter out on the floor (or you if you don't get away). NO (heat or sound) isolation. The carpentry is ancient, the room is cold overnight, the front door does not seem to exist, you can hear absolutely everything from the corridor and other rooms, as if there are no walls and doors at all. You go to the pool/sauna no less than THROUGH THE RESTAURANT. The pools are unmaintained, unclean, the water is warm (I don't know if I would even list that as a positive) and it smells like urine. You won't find a place to leave towels, robes, or anything else near the pool or sauna.
The massage, which we were really looking forward to, turned out to be the worst of all. Some man with long hair who doesn't massage at all and doesn't know how to massage, he's a little hungover, he's quite sleazy and it seems he's just waiting for the appointment to pass, he really doesn't know what to do with himself, because he's waiting to get more booze, which he reeks of (and that in the early afternoon!). And some woman who massages with her elbow! Not even a "p" from a physiotherapist, and their knowledge of anatomy is roughly at the level of a two-year-old. So I don't forget, massage rooms are not rooms! It is essentially one large room divided into several compartments with a few low partitions and a poor curtain as a door. Forget about any privacy, the possibility to relax with music or something similar, but that's why you can listen to the conversations of all 10 people who crammed into the appointment which they shortened (the appointments go one after the other, they start late, only when you enter do they set the tables and put the covers and also finish a few minutes earlier). The whole hotel, corridors and accommodation, have a kind of stale smell. The food is really bad. Buffet table for both dinner and breakfast. The choice is poor. Everything is too salty. Baked in old oil, the stench is felt immediately. The cheapest salami that exists. You are lucky if you manage to find water, there is no juice. I regret every penny spent on this, as if someone sent us by punishment. If you really don't like someone, send them here to finish them off. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, it's not worth visiting even if it's free. Don't waste your time, money and nerves.
And don't say I didn't tell you.

Don't even think about going there, go somewhere else

The whole place is completely run down and should be shut down for complete renovation. Everything is old and filthy.
The Staff is rude, one of them interrupted our conversation with the receptionist wanting to argue with us over paying some local tax that wasn't visible on booking(.)com, repeating aggressively "You're wrong, look it up". Is this how they speak to all of their guests, or only to the ones who question paying hidden fees?
The water pressure in the bathroom is so low that you can't shower properly. The Ad specified there was a ventilator & hygiene products.
There is no ventilation, let alone a ventilator. From the aforementioned "hygiene products" was only 2 tiny, thin bars of soap. And literally nothing else.
It says the pool area is open till 22.00 - about 20 minutes before that they started turning the lights on and off and then announced that they will close soon - is this treatment of paying guests acceptable in what is advertised as a peaceful wellness place?
The way to the pool leads through the basement, which looks like something out of a horror film.
The breakfast was bad. The butter isn't individually packaged, you have to scoop it out of a supermarket container. The chairs, tables & cloth look used up.
The Hotel advertises parking on booking but it's only public parking, it was the only place in Croatia where I felt my car wasn't safe.
We left immediately afterwards. It was the worst hotel I have ever seen.
