Ottimo soggiorno e cucina eccellente

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per un lungo weekend. L'hotel è pulito, rinnovato di recente e si trova proprio nel centro della città, vicino al porto. La camera era molto bella e i letti sono buoni. Quello che mi è stato piacevolmente sorpreso quando il ristorante dell'hotel Vilhelm. Ho avuto un ottimo pranzo, il salmone era superlativa e la notte dopo, ho avuto il merluzzo per la cena. Questo era il lontano il cibo migliore che ho avuto durante il mio soggiorno a Bornholm. Devo dire che sono veramente esperti in pesce in questo ristorante. Consiglio vivamente questo posto se volete cibo eccellente a un prezzo competitivo. Si dovrebbe anche provare il bar per cocktails

Great hotel right in the centre of Allinge. The rooms are stylish, the breakfast was fabulous and we enjoyed being able to enjoy a glass of wine in their garden in the evening. There are several restaurants within a few minutes walk and they also have their own restaurant. Highly recommended.

Vegan breakfast - pure delight

Vegan breakfast - pure delight
I had 4 days at the Grønbechs Hotel and the stay was really lovely. I had been confirmed in advance that they could provide a vegan breakfast, which was the main reason I chose this hotel.
I could enjoy oatmeal in my coffee. They also had almond drinks, but oats are the best for this ;) If you had the barista variant, it would have been delicious.
There was of course food at the common breakfast buffet which was also vegan, but otherwise I was served a lot of things at the table where I sat.
Over all the days I got to taste flg. which was vegan:
Morning balls
French bread
"Cheese"
Marmelade
Apple juice from the island
Chiagra on coconut milk
Granola (show enough roasted in coconut oil)
Different types of melons
Vines
Avocado slices with some olive oil on top
2 types of soy yogurt
Fried tofu - especially the one with smoked peppers was crisp and nice spicy.
"Meat pads"
Butter
Cucumber
Carrot
Peppers
It was really a delicious inviting breakfast buffet.
I missed a handshake at the buffet.
I really enjoy my stay at GH.
I needed to relax and go for a few walks. I am really happy that I chose GH and I think the price of 700 kr for single room as well as 900 kr for small double room is fair here in the low season.
Thank you for your hospitality, your flexibility with room, your desire for little talk and fun for experiences on the island.
If you want a quiet stay at Bornholm, I would definitely recommend coming outside the high season. I was there May 9-13. There are few people in the hotel and no people are in the city and possibly noises at night. I lived on the 2nd floor and room number 23, which has windows directly out to Nørregade, which is the main street through Allinge, where a lot of cars and buses pass. But with earrings and these dates in May, I actually slept really well.
Everything in the little room was perfect: dark curtains, a nice design in the bathroom, a nice bed, views down to the cozy courtyard while the evening sun came into the balcony door as well as a Dyson cooling/heating fan tower, which gave a nice cool temperature when you went to bed.

To come down the stairs at 7.30am to the sound of quiet dampened music and sit at the table with the best morning lights into the window and with views down to the sea and then get spoiled by Argentine Lisandro with good service as well as the other Argentine woman in the kitchen, who made delicious vegan breakfast - it was really lovely!

A well-situated and well-maintained hotel with compact rooms. To enjoy the sea view, you will have to put up with the stairs behind your wall, which can be an issue if other guests are letting their kids run up and down them endlessly. The hotel does provide you with high quality earplugs though, which more of them should do. Also, separate cold&hot taps in the bathroom may be charmingly rustic, but it is also a little inconvenient for Nordic people. Would likely stay again.

Great Grønbechs Hotel

Family with a teenager visiting Grønbechs Hotel for two nights. The location in Allinge is perfect.
Very warm and smiling welcoming from the receptionist that turned to be the General Manager. Really nice to see the GM working along her employees and deliver the same positive experience as her employees.
The hotel had the second floor renovated just before our arrival. What a great surprise when we opened the door. Very inviting colors and great design overall. The bathroom was very small but had all we needed. The tiles on the floor is a fantastic bright green that fits perfectly in that little room.
Restaurant area is also very nice designed with great furniture and decor.
Breakfast was good. The common issue with keeping eggs hot is also present here. Besides that, the variation in the buffet is sufficient and taste very well. A waiter is present to quickly supply the buffet if needed. A great way to reduce waste if that is the reason behind it.
Dinner is very good, with very well prepared food and nicely arranged on the plate. Quality is in the high end of what we have experienced on Bornholm.
Pricing is a bit lower than equal menus in the area as far as I could research online.
Service in the restaurant is outstanding. Good communication and connection with the guests is done with a smile.
Restaurant is open for the public for lunch and dinner. I am not sure if it is open for breakfast also.
This hotel has an amazing outdoor area for family time, a drink or just relaxing. It is really cozy.
Parking can be done at three parking spots just outside in front of a closed shop at Vinkelstræde. It is also possible to have three cars parked alongside the hotel on Vinkelstræde itself. Otherwise park unlimited at Netto parking for free. Be aware to check for signs saying otherwise.
EV can charge at Netto Parking also.
Overall a great stay at Grønbechs Hotel in Allinge at a very fair price.
