Perfect location A++++

Set right in the heart of all the action. Most touristy sites are within a few blocks.
One hundred percent get the breakfast and upgrade to the executive lounge they load it with snacks, coffee and in the evening beer/wine. If you are aware of prices in Copenhagen you will quickly realize this is a great bang for your buck.
Our room was plush. Had a coffee maker, robe/slippers with a nice amount of space for the two of us.

No unattended dog allowed in room means no city-visit for dog owners

Unfortunately, we were only told at check-in that dogs are not allowed to be left alone in the room. Not even during breakfast — you actually have to sit at the designated “dog table” with your dog, this is so ridiculous
So, as of the decision of this hotel-menager, vsiting museums, Tivoli and similar attractions in Copenhague isn’t really possible for dog-owners, when you made the mistake to book a room here.
We’ve therefore spent almost €1,000 for two nights and apparently couldnt do any of those things? In theory at least, because some rules are there to forget...

Copenhagen Visit

We stayed for 7 days in a compact double. It was compact but had everything needed and was clean and comfortable. If you want space book the next size up.
Our room was on the side of the hotel and as we like the windows open it can get "lively" at night. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone although the toaster did go AWOL on our last 2 mornings.
The hotel is in a great position for Copenhagen. It's a 5 minute walk to Nyhavn and also the same distance to the Metro station. There's plenty of restaurants local as well to visit.

Location is fantastic, and the property itself is appealing. I’m very glad I paid up for access to the executive club lounge-it was a great place to begin our day with a fabulous coffee from their top-notch Nespresso machine, or a glass of wine afterwards for free. The room itself could have benefitted from more storage. Sadly, my in-room Nespresso machine was not working. One thing to note-there is no way to get into the hotel without stairs. For most it is no big deal but my wife has mobility issues, so it was a small challenge coming and going. Overall though I enjoyed my stay there.

Pleasant stay at the Phoenix

Travelled to Copenhagen with my son to assist my daughter who is studying there for the next year.
We arrived at the hotel after purchasing lots of stuff for her from Ikea and got lots of help from the staff in bringing this into the hotel so that we could check in and get rid of our bags before going on to her accommodation.
Good food in the restaurant. Would have expected more than 2 profiteroles in a portion though!
Slow service on both evenings that we ate there, probably as everything is cooked to order I am guessing, but they forgot to deliver our desserts on the second evening and had to be chased up.
Rooms and common areas clean and well maintained.
