Five-star food experience - three-star hotel experience

We had a good stay, which was largely carried by the good dining experience in the evening restaurant, where both food and service were top class.
But there were also shortcomings in our stay. The coffee in the morning was not worth drinking and we would have expected better in an otherwise good restaurant. And the bed in our room was either too old or too poor quality - the mattress carried the imprint of many guests before us.

Wedding with overnight stay

We were at the wedding at the hotel ❤️
Everything played during the day, the dinner was quite eminent. At night we were accommodated in lovely rooms, good beds and a lovely breakfast buffet the next day. Absolutely not a finger to put on anything

Nice stay at Thinggaard and good restaurant - but with some beauty flaws!

Stayed 3 days in the new wing in lovely room with terrace. In our stay included a three-course menu for the two days. Unfortunately, the restaurant only thought that it was the one day, which was pretty unpleasant. However, we got our three dishes, and the misunderstanding was corrected with the help of understanding staff at the reception the following day!
In the restaurant, you waited a long time to get a table and to order drinks, but the food was really good. Multiple sale in the form of caviar for light sewing works less well. Serving a 1/2 bottle of named wine in caraffle is not a good style - so it should appear on the wine cards.

Restaurant Visit

Visited the hotel's restaurant which gave us a fantastic experience. Food, wine and service were top.

A good place to experience Thy

Make sure to book a stay with food for they are really skilled and their wines are good. The rooms are fine, we slept well, and there is parking as well as charging spaces. Selve Hurup is 2 pizzerias and 3 discount shops, but the city has roads in all directions and is close to SMK Thy, Vestervig, Agger, Jegindø and many experiences. They did not clean during our stay of 2 days, but their service level is otherwise high.

Vedrørende rengøring under ophold gør vi som udgangspunkt ikke rent på værelserne, men vi gør det naturligvis gerne, hvis man afleverer sedlen fra værelset i receptionen. Vi håber at byde jer velkommen igen en anden gang.
