It was just a super stay

It was just a super stay with a very nice room in the main building, a nice dinner and a generous winer.
We were at a farm owner's gold and got a 5-course menu with associated wine menu. The food was nice and very delicious and the wine menu was very well-tuned and there was plenty in the glass. We felt like landowners for a day and night.

Arrogant treatment

I've never been treated so badly. We are celebrating our birthday and have ordered a table for a specific Friday in September via the Operations Director, with whom we have been in telephone contact. When we arrive, we are greeted by a very arrogant restaurant manager who accuses us of lying about having a reservation and therefore rejects us. We ask him to contact the Driftchef to confirm our reservation, which he declines. The operating chief confirms later that evening that we had a reservation and that the fault was with them. However, this does not change the extreme ill-treatment we received and the fact that a special birthday celebration was ruined. We'll never come back.

Danish stately home stay

We went for a celebration party and stayed the night. We had a room in converted stable block which was nice. No iron in room but think there was in hallway accessing the rooms. Rooms had kettle. Overall perfectly fine for the night. Breakfast was very nice, and lots of choice. Reception super friendly and helpful and invited us to look around main house and the grounds, which was a great recommendation as if you stay in the stable block, you might not see it.

Forkelling weekend

We have on family and birthday stay,we felt welcome,from we arrived at the reception.
Lovely rooms, very delicious food, and nice service, where was told about the food and wine, tastes the breakfast table.
Beautiful surroundings with plenty of activities, beautiful surroundings.

Not as described on the website

We looked forward to the “Herrhood stay” at Kragerup Gods with expectations about Karen Blixen atmosphere and everything that belonged to the stay. However, it became more the Emperor's new clothes than a luxury experience.
No one at the reception when we arrived - however, she came quickly and told me that the room was up the stairs. We found it.
In the afternoon we got 3 pieces of measured cake and “the coffee you make on the machine”. The cakes were ok - but without the great taste experience. The dinner was ok - but again without the great taste experience in the snack and dessert. The main dish was fine - though with only four bites of chicken. A three-course should impress, but after dinner we thought, “was that it?”
The room was, however, lovely and as promised — tranquility and fine details. But the evening was destroyed by company just outside the window: the talk and the hail and loud music made it almost impossible to fall asleep — so much to “enjoy the tranquility of the property”. A disappointment when it is precisely tranquility and exclusivity that you pay for.
Coffee was limited to instakaffee in the room later in the evening. Breakfast was acceptable, but the frames were bryder-T-shirts and clippers - maybe just a little dresscode?
We paid a lot for a stay, which according to your own ads should include coffee & signature cake, 3-course seasonal menu and breakfast buffet in a luxurious and atmospheric setting. We have been on much better spa stays, which were even cheaper.
After the stay we wrote to Kragerup gods about our experience and only got one standard: “thank you for the inquiry”. No answer after a week. We would initially give 2 stars, but lack of response is unprofessional — so it ends at 1 star.
