Best place to stay in Aswan, on the Nile

Beautiful place on the river, with terrace in front of the Elephantine Island and where you can also swim (for those who have no problems!).
Very kind staff, Gandhi, the manager, extremely helpful, precise and kind, located 10 minutes walk from downtown and 8 minutes from the supermarket.

Best backpackers' place to stay in Aswan

Simple but amazing place right by the Nile river a few minutes walking distance from the hustle of Aswan centre. Gandhi is an amazing host, kind, always ready to help with whatever you need, advices, ordering food to the hostel, tours, buses, anything! We really enjoyed sipping tea and chilling on the beautiful terrace right by the shore, taking the kayak to cruise between the islands in front of the hostel and playing ping pong in the evening.
I hope we will have the pleasure to be your guests again someday! Shukran :)

I would recommend staying here if you’re in ASWAN!
Had such an amazing time in Aswan. Did many activities through the Hostel which GANDHI arranged. He made sure I always knew the correct prices for everything and even went as far as to show us which restaurant we ordered from. He knows everyone in town and truly cares about you as a guest. My trip would not have been the same without him! Comfortable bed and wifi was fast. I met 3 new friends from all over the world.
Everyone here is amazing, friendly, and welcomes you with their arms out. GHANDI showed me great hospitality during my stay by making sure I was good and if I needed anything during my stay.
The hostel/hotel is how it’s described. It has everything you need during your stay and if it doesn’t have what you need, Hassan will make sure you get it. I saw the workers clean the hotel every day to make sure it was kept clean and tidy.

I would return without a doubt

Quiet hostel run by Gandhi who always helps you with everything without letting you get ripped off with the prices. Basic breakfast but spacious and comfortable rooms. If you are looking for an economical option in Aswan this is your place.

Great hostel

The place to be for backpackers
Gandi, the manager, is the person to call for any questions!
The breakfast is great
We slept in a tent on the roof, it was great, especially in the morning with the view and the sunrise ☀️
