A Lovely Unforgettable Experience - Old Cairo
The view of the Pyramids from the Master Roof Top café was literally breath taking, an absolute marvel to the eye. What a view whilst enjoying breakfast in the morning.
The food was absolutely excellent. Every meal offered a wide variety of fresh local delicious dishes. Raheem, Manager from the Master Roof Top café saw to it that all my families needs were met. I even overheard him instructing his staff to take special care of me and my family. Its gestures like this that make it very difficult to leave. I can surely call him brother from another mother.
Cleanliness was great. The rooms were cleaned everyday and left spotless. Every member of the team works with passion, professionalism, and genuine care. A big thank you to the 3 ladies.
Both Jana and Mustafa Aladdin – Reception were there for me and my family the very minute we walked in. The first day Mustafa Aladdin arranged a free tour for my family and accompanied us as we visited a papyrus centre, given a tour and saw the age-old tradition of papyrus making. Mustafa Aladdin saw that my son had a skin condition and took us to a 100% organic homeopathic centre where medicinal and perfume oils were made and lastly, he took us took an outlet to see how 100% Egyptian cotton garments are made. Jana helped me with excursions to Sakkara, Memphis and Giza with lunch included and made sure that we had very knowledgeable English-speaking tourist guide – Mohammed Hanfy. We couldn’t have asked for a more. Me and my family were so happy the way we were treated, on our last day we booked a excursion with the help of Jana to The Grand Egyptian Museum, 15 mins/ 9.8km from hotel (old Cairo), wow what an experience.
On our last day the fight was at 22:50 and pick up from hotel 19:15. Mustafa Aladdin, saw to it that we had one of the rooms until 19:15 when booking out should have been at 12:00. Touches like this only made our experience unforgettable.
I have travelled and stayed at many hotels and resorts. I can say with my hand on my heart this particular stay was a unique experience for me. The hospitality, the love and respect my family were given has left me speechless. The staff were very kind and went out their way to make me and my family feel like their family members. That’s the beauty of this hotel, it may not be resort sized but it most definitely makes up with welcoming warmth and being the size, it is the staff can focus and concentrate on looking after the guests which they did faultlessly.
Thank you all, you have left me and my family with a lovely unforgettable experience which we will cherish forever.
