This hostel is actually a hotel. I've never booked a better hotel than this hotel. Wonderful and Great Service.
The hostel is a full-fledged hotel. And with a beautiful, lovely pool. Nice spacious rooms. Very Good Service! Air conditioning, refrigerator. I have never booked such a nice and beautiful hotel before. Yeah, great. And the beauty is, on the west side of Luxor are the gems of sights!

Excellent experience
I came to Luxor, on the west bank, to visit the Pharaonic temples, and I finally discovered much more than just accommodation. At Medhet, everything is authentic and warm. The pool is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, and the breakfasts are delicious.
Medhet is an exceptional host: always attentive, available and concerned for the well-being of its guests. Thanks to him, we had a truly unforgettable holiday.
Our room was large, very clean and with excellent bedding — nothing like the other hotel we had stayed at before!
I recommend this place without hesitation.

HORRIBLE, not safe
Attention this hotel is a real scam, worst stay of my life:
- room whose cleanliness is to be reviewed (hair / hair in the sheets), no hot water despite our complaints, missing equipment
- OPPRESSIVE owner who lacks discretion: he insisted several times to have photos and videos of my friend and I to promote the hotel (posted against our will on social media and not yet deleted despite our requests - we were in the pool and barely had time to get dressed) and to do the end of stay evaluation in front of him (he came knocking on our door at 9pm the day before we left expressly for this). Lack of privacy (late arrivals at 2am, he stayed in our room for 45 minutes, meals in public areas taken systematically with him...).
- sale of excursions at “competitive” prices that are scammed by scams: we have booked with him a full day excursion with transport/tickets included to observe the flight of hot air balloons and visit the main points of interest of Luxor. Ordered to be punctual to leave at 5am to be dumped alone on a vacant lot in the middle of the night, the driver (mr Kind) being in a hurry to go to the mosque. He came back an hour later rushing us to leave when no hot air balloon had yet taken off. We finally had to wait 1h30 before seeing them. At the second stop, new pitfall and disappointment: we had to pay the entrance tickets!! We all stopped afterwards to hope for a refund. They were aggressive and in endless bad faith. We are still waiting for the refund! And we don’t thank them for the retaliation afterwards: we were locked outside the hotel in the afternoon after going for a walk and then the next morning inside even though we had warned him that we had booked another trip with a Third party. Forced to wake up another customer to get out, because he was lucky enough to have the key to the main door.
- Checkout in continuity: we had warned that we were leaving at 8:15, he sent us messages as early as 7am to leave the room, then sent us an employee 30min later....
-staff composed exclusively of men
– fake restaurant: he made us believe that he cooked the proposed meals while he simply ordered them from another establishment, the Balady. Luxor is small, everyone knows each other, and we were lucky enough to meet a person who unwittingly revealed to us the pot-aux-roses.

PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!
Worst experience of my life hotel not safe at all!
This hotel is all about scams, lies and oppression! We spent 5 days in this hotel, we trusted our host who “seemed” nice and honest (although it is very imposing to see a little too much, he comes to the rooms at 9pm, 3am, he sits down with us never a moment of reis), we lived a nightmare! He sold us a full day taxi + temple 45€ word for word, of course once paid he told us “you misunderstood it was only for the taxi” knowing that the price of a taxi here is 0,80€ for 30min drive and that my friend speaks fluent English so we understood it is just a scam and the WORST thing is that once he saw that we did not let himself and his driver (Mr.kind) started to get aggressive, Mr. Kind is also a good old bad guy who thinks people for idiots. Lonely girls do not go to this hotel there are only men who work there and are all in cahoots, it locks the hotel you are not free of your movements, once they were told that they were thieves they locked us inside 1 time and almost missed a flight, and locked outside once for 1 hour. if you express dissatisfaction he does not appreciate at all the boss made us a nice speech on life saying "you could die tomorrow we do not know what life is made of" this hotel is not safe! He asks people to make videos to recommend his hotel and write positive comments on booking or Google in front of him and not to make a big deal many do. Not to mention the cleanliness which is not at the top and the shower without hot water for 5 days despite the requests. do not trust him on anything he is a liar 24 hours a day.
