Breakfast was the one weak point of the hotel. On hotels.com, it states that it opens at 5:30am. It actually opens at 6am. I went at 6:05, and while it was open, at 6:20 the staff were still bringing out (Not replenishing, bringing out!) food.

Pro's and Con's

PRO's:
1.) It's INSIDE the airport, so you don't leave security. We were on a 12 hour layover and our connecting flight was literally 100 feet away from our room.
2.) The breakfast is plentiful and excellent.
3.) The room is clean.
CON's:
1.) You will hear airport announcements from the room and they are LOUD. We tried to drown it out with the fan, but no luck.
2.) We could not get the room to cool down at all. A/C not effective.
3.) The toilet paper was almost out when we arrived. We called and requsted more, but didn't hear back. Eventually we ran down to reception to get more.
4.) No hair dryer in the room. You can request one, but that took a while to arrive.
5.) Sink was clogged on arrival.
Bottom line is the benefit of the convenience outweighed the con's for us. It's clear they turn these rooms pretty quickly so some details are overlooked (like toilet paper, etc).

Adjust Room Temperature for options for both hot and cold

Dear Sky Light Hotel Management. Please kindly adjust the room temperature in the hotel for options for both and cold. Some people prefer a medium warm temperature. Your staff tried adjusting it and I even switch off the temperature regulator and it was just too cold. I would be back very soon. Please kindly take this into consideration

Great for a layover

We had a 4-hour layover from Harare to London, it was great to rest a bit and to have a shower. $85 for 1-3 hours for a couple was fair. Noisy with airport announcements, the room is good. Restaurant with excellent buffet next to the hotel, open to non-residents, for US$25.

Convenient and comfortable

I found myself unexpectedly delayed at Addis, due to a miscommunication regarding departure gate. The Skylight In Terminal hotel was the perfect solution.
The room was not spacious, but that is fine: the purpose was to shower and sleep, and it was ideally suited to that.
A very good breakfast buffet was included, at the African Hub across the passageway from the hotel.
