HONEYMOON WELL SPENT!

This place was recommended to us by a colleague. Me and my wife were looking forward to this for so long. And boy they didn't disappoint. The room itself has an amazing view of the Volcano. It was just majestic. We never wanted to leave. Their food selection is average - can still be improved. Happy hour was a blast. The staff here were very accommodating. We had a some issues with the appliances in our room - and they came at once and took care of everything.
On our last night, we invited the staff to bond with us to close down our honeymoon. We drank, talked and ate all night.
Looking forward to return here.

Come for the view but DO NOT STAY.

The residences are located under a restaurant and not signposted. The entire place smells of urine, there is no drinking water and of a night they shut the water off so there is none at all. The TV did not work, half of the power sockets did not work or were handing out of the wall and there was exposed wires and a power point in the shower for the hot water service!
We kept an open mind and asked reception for an airport transfer early the next morning. She did not tell us until 9pm that the transfer would be her brother and it would cost $2500 PHP!!!!
We woke up early and booked a grab for $250 PHP, 1/10 of the price her and her scammer brother wanted. We left him at the church to ponder their life choices.

Missed opportunity but the view was breathtaking!

The place was a condo type unit complete with a kitchen, dining area and balcony with a breathtaking view of Mt. Mayon where you can just chill and stare at the majestic mountain, which was truly the highlight of our stay!
Here are the PROs. The location was also very central, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Walkable distance to fast food chains, market & convenience store. It has also a restaurant at the upper level. The beautiful Daraga Church is just located across the hotel which makes it easy to see anytime of the day or if you want to attend mass. The unit had a well equipped kitchen with cooking set and utensils, which was convenient for us. The mini dining area was a nice touch, and the bed was comfortable, although the sheets and pillows could use an update.
However, there were a few areas where the unit fell short. We found that the sheets were in need of an update, and the lack of toiletries like toothpaste and toothbrush was inconvenient. Additionally, we didn't receive any cleaning service during our stay, which was disappointing. The shower was also a bit of a letdown, with erratic hot water and an old aircon unit that struggled to keep the room cool.
Despite these flaws, we were able to overlook them due to the stunning view of Mt. Mayon and the unit's central location. We were able to sleep well and enjoyed our stay overall. In my opinion, this unit has a lot of potential, but it needs some updates and attention to detail to live up to its full potential. If the owner addresses these issues, I would highly recommend this unit to others.
