Great location, dated hotel but very clean, very helpful staff. Frequent brownouts in town add it gets very hot with the windows closed. If you like to sleep late, be aware a church is right nextdoor and the services are heard in there rooms.
I would definitely stay here again.

To be avoided

Indecent place, yellow water and no pressure, sometimes burning. Staff non-existent and very slow to each request. Very noisy air conditioning. We were promised.the room for 4, but there were only three beds. I highly recommend you to opt for other facilities.

Deceive you with an uninhabitable room

I would give -3 stars if I could. We booked this place via booking.com. When we checked in, the woman at the reception already gave us an impression that she didn’t care about her guests. She told us we can choose a room either without window or without hot water. Mind you that information wasn’t mentioned on the website when we booked the room. So we chose the one without openable window.
Fast forward 3 minutes, the woman lead us to the room, she opened the door, the room smelled mouldy and guess what, it’s full of black mould especially around the skirting boards and the non openable window. It’s absolutely horrendous. I can not imagine anyone staying in that room for a night, let alone 3 nights for us. And I am pregnant. It’s an absolute health and safety hazard.
We asked for a cancellation right after. The woman who seemed to be the owner said she can’t do it, I’ll have to do it via booking.com which I tried multiple times. Booking.com claimed that the room is booked via a partner so they can’t help us.
We went back to the hotel and told the woman about our situation with booking.com. She again told us if we ask booking.com to cancel the room she would accept the cancellation. It’s going nowhere, she probably knows that’s impossible to guest to request a cancellation and refund. There you go £100 into her pocket without lifting a finger.
This is pure deception and fraud. This place is literally rotting to the core. Booking this place is basically contributing to their scam. After being scammed by the first hotel in El Nido on the same day, we came across this hotel and it’s another scam. Two in a row, lucky day! Please do all other tourists a favour, don’t stay here.
If you look at other negative reviews about this place, you will see how little they care about anything else but your wallet.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO INHALE BLACK MOLD SPORES. THEY WON’T REFUND A SINGLE PENNY TO YOU.

Location is the only highlight. Keeping in mind other hotels nearby, the hotel has cleanish rooms (with slight weird smell) and cleanish washrooms with spots on toilet seat and old shower with no water heating. Overall the stay was ok, but not worth the money spent.

STAY AWAY

Where do I start ???? Check in ....wrong rooms, bad English, student working now idea what she did, not find the booking.....The room.....no aircon working, no wifi working, no drinking water, no water pressure in shower, .....asking to talk to the manager, she didnt know who it was or no phone number. I asked for the email adress, she didnt know that either.....all in all STAY AWAY its just a mess....oh I forgot, they didnt clean the room day 2...i mean its 6 PM and still haven`t clean anything !!! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE to run a "hotel" like this ? And 3 stars ? hahahaha 1 star it is !!!!!
