The Sands Restaurant at Discovery Boracay
The Sands restaurant at Discovery Boracay has by far the most attentive and friendly people. Marianne P. & Jomar is ensured that my son’s allergies (peanut, tree nuts and shellfish ) were addressed and acknowledged. Ensuring that he had his food made with no risk of cross contamination and didn’t just sit there waiting for something he can safely eat; which is not an easy feat. Jomar kept us all hydrated and well fed. He’s very attentive and has initiative in his care. Marianne P. & Roswen did sun burn care on my kids when they noticed their bright red faces!
The beach staff is awesome! Rendy is hands down the kindest and most attentive. He helps set up your spots on the beach, keeps your water pitches full and always comes up with a dry towel after swimming.

Cebu Pacific changed my flight. I tried to contact the hotel for possible refund or reschedule. They never replied. Hotels.com customer service tried to contact them - there was no reply. Shoddy run business.

Arriving late in the evening, it was very convenient to stay one night directly in front of the airport. Unfortunately, at 10pm, the 7-11 closes, as there are not many people (it is a very small international airport). There were spiders hanging out on the wall of the clothes closet, that were very obvious to anyone that checked the room.... the bed was very clean and comfortable, but not side tables, or charging ports within reach, so had to put everything on the floor.
Oddly, there was a refrigerator that was not plugged in, so I had to take it out and move it to the other side of the room to plug it in. Also odd was the window, with a view of a concrete wall. Not sure the purpose of this lol.
Staff were nice. Overall, the location after a long flight was ideal before moving onto Boracay in the morning (check-in is 2-3pm most places in Boracay, so no rush!)
