Good Hotel in pleasant grounds
First visited Koronadal 1980. Accommodation then was very limited. Stayed in a place called Alabados home which was the best on offer for many years of my return visit’s. Around 2$ a night. Having been away for 8 years was pleased at the improvement in Hotel choices. We spent the first 3 nights in the Farm which was ok no problems. Decided we wanted to be nearer to the Centre. Had a look at a number of Hotels which all seemed suitable. We really liked the Paraiso Verdi. It is a bit strange accessing through a service station. We chose the basic room, the cheapest which was satisfactory. Two single beds plenty of space for our luggage. We could sit out on the veranda. After breakfast had a walk round the grounds each morning. There’s a separate swimming pool and a wave pool which we didn’t bother with.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast each morning which was mostly Phiipino but I was ok with it. Liked the reception area some comfortable chairs to sit and relax . The tables and chair in the breakfast are need replacing are in poor condition. But all in all we’re very satisfied with our stay and if I return again next year will stay here.

Place looks nice but service is bad.
Our room was the standard quad because it was the only room that could accommodate 4 people, even if we were a family of 2 kids. Of course, we had to book this room. I was mostly away after the check-in. I returned late at night only to realize that my kids were cold because we were only provided with the top sheet. There was no quilt available apparently because it was the hotel policy. However, the standard twin has quilts provided. Moreover, we were not even informed before and after check-in until I complained! To request 1 quilt would cost an additional 100 each!

Terrible Aqua Park, no waves
Terrible. Very dirty water at the wave and the freestyle pool, no maintanance. When we arrived in the noon there was no second wave at 4pm. I really can not recommend Paraiso Verde. The entrance costs 180php per head ans the money is not worth the entrance.

First choice in Koronadal
Overall this was our best hotel experience in Koronadal so far. The other hotels I can compare them to are the FB Hotel and the newer 88 Hotel.
I first was put off by the reviews. However it's much better than the FB hotel suite we stayed in before while being far less expensive. We were staying in one of the rooms of their best 2-guest-category ("Executive Matrimonial Room"). And opposed to the FB Hotel here the extra money for the "luxury" style room seemed well spent.
The 88 Hotel is a budget hotel which is not at the same level (very small rooms etc.) but is available on a budget. If you're on holiday and can afford the extra costs I'd recommend the Paraiso Verde hotel over the 88 for sure while the 88 sometimes has some super low fees and surely is worth it if it's got to be cheap.
Surely it's funny that you have to go through a gasoline station in order to enter the hotel. That's how it is.
Regarding the restaurants you need local knowledge. However the Viajera Dine and Cafe (which is my favourite restaurant in Koronadal) is just 1,5 km away. The Cinco Niñas restaurant just on the other side of the gasoline station near the Paraiso Verde also is OK.
I didn't check the waves pool but at the time we were visiting, the water in the normal pool was quite OK (and way cleaner than in the pool of the FB hotel).
If I would stay in Koronadal again I'd most definitely book the Paraiso Verde.

Very clean affordable and rooms
We stayed at their budget hotel, Casitas Verde Hotel along the main highway in front of the Pingoy Hospital. Their rooms are clean and affordable for only P1080. Their staff are friendly and accommodating. Good location. Our stay was very pleasant. We were comfortable with the beds and room. Will come back again!
