Great stay
We had breakfast most mornings which was reasonably priced.
Shirt walk, under 5 mins, to White Beach.
The owner, Peter, gives lots of information to make your stay more enjoyable.
Two resident cats Cookie, white adult and Barack, black kitten. It’s a nice thing to buy a few sachets of cat food to go in their food cupboard ❤️
Would definitely stay again.

Beware of advance payments.
I was asked to pay 50% of the total booking amount in advance for two weeks.
Three days after making the payment, my girlfriend and I encountered a significant setback and had to drastically change our plans.
I then requested a refund of the 9,800 pesos already paid since, as I mentioned, there would be almost a month until the check-in date.
I was told that the refund request had been accepted, but it would take a month before I would actually receive the full amount.
It has now been three and a half months and I have not seen any money.
I want to emphasize that 9,800 pesos is a significant amount of money in the Philippines; it can correspond to a monthly salary for a worker, and many workers do not even reach that amount.
During these three and a half months, I have tried multiple times to contact the facility, and I must say that they respond, promising every time to do their best to complete the refund, but at this point, it seems more like a mockery of little professionalism and honesty.
I must also mention that due to the same setback for which my girlfriend and I had to change our travel plans, I had to cancel other bookings, including a ferry with Oceanjet and a very simple BnB in Siquijor.
In both cases, I received the refund within the expected time.
Strangely, the same did not happen with this facility, which seems to be even better equipped than, for example, the BnB in Siquijor, and is also located in one of the most touristy and commercial islands in the Philippines, which is characterized by the presence of accommodations of a certain level.
But often appearances are deceiving.
Therefore, there is only a lot of regret, but this will certainly not ruin the memory of the beautiful Philippines and its wonderful people met during three months of stay.
However, one should be careful with certain attitudes because they risk ruining the reputation of a place and its culture.
So think carefully before paying in advance with this establishment.
