The property itself is good for a family wanting to stay in nature, it is very near the beach. Charles the groundkeeper was very nice and can take you on short trips for a small fee.
Having very close access to the beach was a huge plus for us, especially when the tide was out and the kids were able to explore the rocks.
On the negative side, the neighbours can be a little noisy but will be quiet for a while if you ask them nicely. We often found glass from broken bottles washed up on the beach, but I think this is almost unavoidable and can be quickly cleared before setting any littler kids to run wild.
Recommended if you have your own transport or just want to be away from the city for a while. Great access to the Whale Sharks and waterfalls. Owner is very quick to reply to messages.

Awesome!

Hanz and Eden really made our stay in Cebu, they were beyond helpful and kind. There are limited restaurants in the area and when one was surprisingly closed, they generously drove us 30mins to the next town to eat at a lovely Italian restaurant, they waited for us to finish our meal and dropped us back. Hanz also drove us to the whale sharks in Oslob (45min drove) and to a number of waterfalls in the surrounding area. Eden kindly packed us a few snacks and drinks too. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. They also arranged a beach massage for us which I believe was around 550pesos. Even though it was a 5hour drive from the airport, I would thoroughly recommend them and you must swim with the whale sharks! The highlight of our travels so far! Thanks again Eden and Hanz!

above expectation

This place was amazing. We recieved top service from the beginning to the end.
We visited carolina del mar for our trip to kawasan, aguinid and dao falls. Everything was close to the hotel.
The owners are verry friendly and helpful. They have a big network around the island, so for our trip to the kawasan falls we got the cheap price and got a privet guide. The hotel is managed bij Hanz and Eden and they will help you with all your questiones and give you a lot of tips. They work hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We will definitely come back here.

Amazing place!

We traveled on many islands Philippines, but this was the top. Hotel was so nice and near to the private beach. Rooms were clean and cozy. Many sightseeing were very near, so we saw so beautiful places. (Inambakan fall was amazing) Tasty morning meals was served on the beach. Just for two of us. there was the massage service, and it was so good. Im a big snorkeling fan, so it was just great opportunity also to snorkeling. The most memorable, however, was the owners, Hanz and Eden. So friendly and helpful.
It was the perfect getaway from the citylife and the owners made our holiday a memorable for us. So we are very thankful:)
Definitely recommend!!

It seems to be on a private island!

We stayed in this hotel 2 nights. The two owners Hanz & Eden are super friendly and helpful! The structure is brand new (only one year and a half of life) so everything is perfect. Comfortable bed with a priceless sea view. Very quiet and silent position. The best part is being able to have breakfast and dinner directly on the sand by the sea. Very nice. The structure is about 20-30 minutes far by tricycle from Liloan (400 PHP) and an hour from Oslob. They took care of arranging for us both the excursion to Osblo for the whale sharks and the transportation to the Cebu City airport. They also offer sea view massage service (550 PHP). Absolutely recommended!
