Gladly again
Charming service at all corners and edges. The stairs are a challenge, but feasible for the Ottonornal consumer. After all, nobody is being rushed here. We really liked the facility, including massages near the beach. Good food at reasonable prices, who wants it even cheaper, can find the usual stalls right in front of the resort. Value for money is bach ubserem taste.

Hospitality on Point, Amenities Not So Much
The absolute highlight of this place is the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming—classic Filipino hospitality at its best. They really make you feel taken care of, and that alone goes a long way.
That said, the resort’s main strength is clearly scuba diving. If you’re here primarily for that, you’ll probably be happy. But for the price we paid, the rest of the experience felt a bit underwhelming. It’s not outrageously expensive, but I do think you can find better value elsewhere for the same budget.
Room & Facilities
Because of the island’s natural layout, the resort has a lot of stairs. And I mean a lot. About 30 steps just to get to our room. This meant we had to plan everything before heading up—bathroom breaks included—because once you’re up there, you really don’t want to go back down unless you absolutely have to. I won’t recommend this to the elderly especially those who aren’t physically active.
The room itself was… fine. Nothing special. There’s no TV, which at first felt understandable—you’re on vacation, be present—but the problem is there also wasn’t much else to do at night within the resort. We often found ourselves leaving or just watching other groups drink or play sports outside because there wasn’t any in-house entertainment. It would be nice to have an activity planned out every night, perhaps those that involve interacting with other guests and a live band.
One thing that really surprised us: no cups, mugs, kettle, or even a pitcher of drinking water in the room. No room service either. I understand not offering food delivery, but room service for cleaning requests or emergencies would’ve been nice. Having to walk all the way to the restaurant just to get water kind of defeats the whole “relax and unwind” vibe.
Cleanliness & Maintenance
There were some small but noticeable issues. The bathroom trash bin looked unwashed—there was still dirt on the lid when we arrived. The towel rack was flimsy, and the bathroom cups smelled strongly of fluoride, probably because they’re plastic or silicone. I personally didn’t use them because I couldn’t stop thinking about how many guests had used them before.
Food
Food was decent overall. Breakfast was very basic. The corned beef tasted like it came straight from a cheap can, which was disappointing considering it was priced around ₱290. For that price, I expected something a bit more homemade or elevated.
Final Thoughts
This place has great staff, solid diving activities, and peaceful, but it falls short on comfort and basic amenities for the price. A few improvements—like drinking water in rooms, proper cups, better cleaning standards, and maybe laundry or dry-cleaning options for long-staying guests—would make a big difference.

Not bad, rooms are cheap, however, the food is terrible, it's not worth the price. I recommend visiting the Sipalay food market located at the coastal side of the city. Overall experience was good, just food was not good.

It was a beautiful diving vacation!
We were at the Easy Diving Resort in Sipalay/Negros in the Philippines for the second time in May 2026.
As with our first visit in April 2025, everything was again super and perfect! This time, we did the "Diving Safari" to the island of "Cagayan," staying in a beautiful bungalow and doing three dives daily at incredibly beautiful reefs. The resort manager Christian also arranged for us two additional dive trips to the island of "Calusa." There, too, were stunning reefs with countless large fish, turtles, huge gorgonians, and... and... and... All of this must be seen; it delights the heart of every diver! All in all, it was again an unforgettable diving vacation for us. Also worth mentioning is the absolute friendliness and helpfulness of the entire crew on the dive boat as well as the staff in the resorts. Thanks again to the manager Christian and his staff.

Excellent Experience
This is where i had my first fun dive after my PADI Advance certification. I did 3 dives with a guide and a group. On the PADI website, it required that you need a minimum of 20 dives to even sign up however, I was able to call the resort and explain to them that I wanted to sign up for the activity and they allowed me to do so as long as I am qualified with the skills to do so.
My first concern was that there wouldnt be any slots available if I were to book on-site in person, but there were plenty of guides and instructors that fitting into an activity slot wouldnt be a problem.
When I was making my booking, I was looking for a place to eat nearby or at the resort. I noticed that the resort only mentions about their activities and their rooms, so i attached photos of their menu for their restaurant as well as their massage prices.
I do intend to come back more to this resort because of the variety of dive sites that they offer - all of them very unique. I suggest coming in with a large bottle of water. I was offered a souvenir metal bottle which comes with free refills from affiliated resorts and could be reused for the next visit. I think thats a really good and practical deal.
I took my 85 year old grandfather with me to this trip. He managed to go through the stairs several times to go to the beach, eat at the restaurant and going around the rest of the resort, but I want to give advance notice that if youre brining an elder, there are a lot of stairs and steps. There are accommodations closer to the beach and fewer stairs, but there is no guarantee. We had a lot of help from their staff with our luggage in and out of the resort.
I wanted to give a shoutout to Goldie to introducing me to the wonderful staff and helping me with my accommodation and my scuba activities. It certainly helped me navigate through everything a lot better. I had the awesome opportunity to meet Christian, the owner. I also had a great time with Vlad to talk about different diving experiences. Justin was the activity guide and he did an excellent job with guiding us through the course.
Definitely coming back.
