Don't miss it!

Authentic, clean and welcoming property surrounded by a large garden not far from the center. Attentive and kind staff .. available for every need at all hours. I felt at home, and it is a feeling that nok you get everywhere! Don't miss this magical place.

We found what we were looking for ..and more!

We had four very pleasant days in a very nice and convenient setting. A beautifull building very tastefully furnished in a large private garden (where there is also space for parking). Our room was very spacious elegantly furnished with antiques, very quiet, with a very big and fully equiped bathroom, and a small balcony with a nice garden view. The location is very convenient: 10-15 minutes pleasant walk to the old Aix, but there is also a bus stop nearby. The host, mr Georges Gaunet takes care of everything, including the preparation of the breakfast, and is a very profesional, polite, and friendly person indeed. Thank you mr Georges!

Ces’t superbe!

We stayed several nights and everything about the Villa was superb.
Georges is the perfect host, and really applies himself to ensure you have a wonderful time. (He even ran us in his own vehicle to a local restaurant and offered to come back and pick us up!)
Breakfasts are top class, and your room and the whole villa are filled with antiques.
Walking distance to the centre of Aix-en-Provence - recommended is the Gallery Hotel Graumont, where a permanent thirty minute film of the life of Cezanne and his love of the neighbouring Saint-Victorie mountain, is only surpassed by visiting the Route Cezanne, which is 15 minutes away, and runs beneath the beautiful mountain range.
The City and this Villa are treasures to enjoy.

lovely historic villa just outside town centre

We stayed at Villa Roumanille in early May for 8 nights. Our room was very spacious, clean & quiet, the breakfast was lovely on the outside deck, & Georges was extremely helpful with suggestions for visits around the area. We enjoyed meeting and playing with the dogs. Our lack of french didn't hinder our conversations too much, thanks to google translate! Would definitely recommend this Villa for a quiet stay in Aix.

WONDERFUL

We stayed only one night, would have loved to stay longer. Had the Deluxe Double room...it was absolutely charming. The room was large, clean and beautifully furnished. The owners were very helpful. The gardens are lovely and the whole place is very relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful and delightful.
