Very pleasant stay at the Stella Di Mare hotel ☀️☺️

We stayed 8 days at the Stella Di Mare Hotel and we are very satisfied with our stay!
The room was medium sized (room without sea view but we still had views of the bloodthirsty ☺️) but very well arranged, very clean, a small terrace, air conditioning, a very comfortable king size bed, a bathroom with an Italian shower, TV.I think recent renovation works had to be carried out.
The perfect breakfasts, the adjoining restaurant "Le Saint Pierre" very well.
We have lunch and dinner on a nice terrace.
Some musical entertainment some evenings.
There is a well equipped fitness room for those who desire it,
The staff is very friendly, smiling and considerate.
Really we are very satisfied ☺️

Hotel not as advertised! Change of management since 2025 reviews. We booked based on reviews and website but about 4 weeks before our visit we were informed that neither the pool or restaurant would be open. Very disappointing but it had a private beach and restaurants close by so we stayed loyal to the booking. Pool not open was a case of pool being rebuilt with cranes, drills, cement mixers on site, dust galore, angle grinders 9.00am to mid afternoon. Some of the lower rooms were being gutted and not in use with debris being tossed out. The terrace was available for breakfast, a very basic continental that never changed. Staff not sure what was going on, at first we had coffee served at the table, next day we had to find and ask a staff member next few days we had to order from the bar and it was brought out whilst the last two days we had to order then collect and carry across the terrace. The access to the beach was very tired and the beach was mainly stone and rock, nothing like the pictures, water activities were non existent. Very few people used the terrace the umbrellas for shade were never opened, one staff member did try but couldn’t manage. Ambience was non existent, potential beautiful terraced area with beautiful views but no shade. Cannot believe this is still advertised on past glory.

Change of ownership

Attention , new direction!!!
She knew how to receive our group for pool party planned and buffet , but we arrive and no pool , pitiful buffet .... On the other hand magnificent view and young employees all adorable including the pretty Sacha that I greet.

Nous souhaitons rappeler que l'évènement passé au sein de notre établissement a été entièrement organisé par les organisateurs de cet évènement, tenus informés le plus rapidement possible de la non disponibilité de la piscine avant la date d'arrivée des participants. En tant qu'hôtelier, nous n'avons pas vendu de pool party. Il ne s'agissait donc pas d'une mauvaise surprise.
Nous sommes navrés que la restauration n'ait pas été à votre goût, le budget imposé étant bien plus bas que ce que nous proposons habituellement, nous avons quand même voulu vous offrir des produits frais, variés et de qualité, le tout, fait maison.
Nous vous remercions encore pour votre visite et votre gentillesse envers notre personnel. Nous vous souhaitons une excellente continuation.

Good hotel to rest

Pleasant hotel outside Ajaccio on the bloodthirsty road, the hotel looks directly onto a small beach and the view from the rooms overlook the bloodthirsty islands.
Very comfortable room decent breakfast and perfect staff.
A good address the hotel restaurant is excellent to do without hesitation

This was my best hotel experience on the island of Corsica. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They even anticipated our needs before we did. They spoke very good English. They even let us hang around the hotel after check out.
I recommend getting a room with a terrace. It’s really worth the extra money. If I make it to Corsica again, I will make sure to stay here again.
