Large rooms, great location

The property is very large. During the day, the ground floor serves as a museum. There are only two bedrooms available. Between the two bedrooms is a large shared "living room". The bedrooms by any standard are very large. Same with the bathrooms. Our room was cleaned daily and we did not find dust as I read in a prior review. If it's wet outside, breakfast is served inside. I have included these pics in my review. In terms of location, it does not get better than this. Arles is on a hill and Palais de Luppe is at the very top of the hill across from the amphitheater. AC is powerful enough to cool the massive room. The downsides are: 1) Parking. Parking is at the bottom of the hill and its quite a walk. It was sunny and hot for the most part of our stay. If I had to walk that far in the rain, it would had been a bummer. 2) For those with mobility issues, there are two sets of stairs that you must climb.
Other than those two points, I highly recommend staying here. The experience is unique. You will not be disappointed.

Work in Progress

My daughter and I spent two nights at Palais de Luppé. The location is right by les Arènes and quite central to most attractions in Arles.
Breakfast served in a peaceful outdoor courtyard was a pleasant way to start our day. It was laden with condiments made in Arles and Provence.
The accommodation has great potential with its lofty, elegant air-conditioned rooms but is run more as an Airbnb than a hotel. Our room was not cleaned during our stay.
I appreciate that the owner is managing this large property on his own but the staircase, dining room and public areas were very dusty during our stay.
When the renovations are completed and the building fully staffed, it will be among the best in the city.

Beautiful building & Great Location

This new hotel is very conveniently located for a trip to Arles. The rooms are decadent and impressive, a nice combo of new and old. Good showers and a lovely breakfast. The building lacks the central focus of a hotel with no reception or lobby but that's not a major problem. The car park is a few minutes walk away and costs $20 for 24 hours. Be sure to factor that in if your driving.

Le palais est superbe ! Calme et beaucoup de charme ! Localisation parfaite idéal pour profiter des rencontres photographiques de Arles ou visites des villages provençaux. Accueil chaleureux ! Je conseille vivement

Dieux et Démons de la création. Mythologies et voyage imaginaire. A visiter.

Dieux et Démons de la création. Un joli palais de style néo Florentin à visiter obligatoirement si vous souhaitez voyager dans un autre monde où le beau devient bizarre et envoûtant. Le vestibule présente des fresques de Jean Amédée Gibert, la déesse Ariane est à l'honneur. Le salon présente des sculptures en bronze de Gaston de Luppé et de Victor Ségoffin. La salle à manger est un spectaculaire trompe l'oeil de J. A. Gibert. La cour abrite la danse sacrée de V. Ségoffin, la chapelle est composé de marbre, le jardin est un lieu idyllique où il fait bon de s'arrêter. Des expositions éphémères comblent chaque pièce, et le visiteur découvre des nouveaux artistes.
