The perfect boutique experience in the heart of Avignon!

Staying at the Hotel Colbert in Avignon is an absolute delight.
We were incredibly impressed by the wonderful, comfortable rooms, and the location could not be better—perfectly situated for exploring all the major sights while remaining conveniently close to the railway station.
A special thank you goes to Léa and Sandrine, whose friendly service and valuable help truly elevated our stay and made us feel right at home. It is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting this beautiful city!

Very pleasant good value hotel in the heart of Avignon

This is a very charming small hotel on a tiny street just off of the main boulevard, so it is very quiet and very convenient. I stayed on the ground floor just off the garden patio. My room was small but well appointed with a coffee making tray but no refrigerator. As it was a bit dark because it was on the back of the hotel, it was perfectly comfortable for one or two nights, but you might want something different for an extended stay of a week. The bath and bed were very good.
The front desk young woman (sorry, I forgot her name) was extremely kind and helpful when I had a transportation challenge to figure out.
I would stay here again.

Look no further…this is the place

Really loved this hotel! I had a very difficult time finding a place in Avignon. Many had bad comments about smells and bad buildings. Then I came upon this one. From the moment we arrived we were received with amazing kindness. Our room was impeccably clean and well decorated with a good size bathroom with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning worked perfectly even though outside was the hottest ever. I live in a very hot climate so I appreciate a good air conditioner. In the foyer downstairs there is a board with all the information you need for Avignon. Also close to the central train station and the papal palace. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby.

Hotel LE COLBERT a festival *****

Normans passing through Avignon were won over by the charm of this hotel that stands out from all these great uniform and often impersonal hotel brands.
A stay of several nights in this establishment nestled in a small street in the historic center of Avignon allowed us to appreciate the calm of the place, quality bedding, a generous breakfast, all in an original theatrical setting.
Let’s not forget to mention the smiles and the warm welcome of the two friendly owners who know what conviviality means.
Yeah, a... FESTIVAL of good points and a place worth a visit!
One regret, next time we will take larger suitcases to bring more sun to Normandy...
