Wonderful stay!
The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, always making sure everything is perfect. Their hospitality truly made the difference and added a personal touch to our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend La Bellemè Bleu to anyone looking for a lovely and relaxing place to stay. We would happily return!

The decoration doesn't do everything!
We have dinner on site with the formula charcuterie board. Well stocked and at decent price.
Breakfast is okay without more. No homemade cakes or pastry, no regional specialties, no homemade jam, no savoury for those who love. In short, it is a continental breakfast as in the hotel, nothing more. Besides, we have to fill out a form the night before. It is taken in the room that acts as a lounge and reception. The day we were there, there was also a person who was buying back gold and silver sitting on the big table with all his equipment... Weird, we had the impression of breakfast in his office! You wonder what he's doing here and it's detrimental to privacy. Luckily for us, he had no customer.
Access to the rooms is via a beautiful wooden staircase of the 17th in spiral, but difficult with a large suitcase or for people with difficulties. However, it would be useful to specify this in the description.
We had the room Aristide Boucicaut overlooking the street, and finally quite busy. You can't watch TV with the windows open. Still, there was an unpleasant smell of moisture that forced us to ventilate a lot. Apparently insulation problem of the facade because the paper blisters and peels off in places. The TV is way too big for the size of the room. You might think it's a plus, but when you're lying down, you're 2m from the screen and it's unpleasant. Finally, the sheets are badly (or not?) ironed. This does not give an impression of sharpness.
Anyway, big disappointment. Reading all the glowing reviews, we expected much better and a different Mood. Too bad.

Nous sommes heureux que le charme de la maison et de sa terrasse, ainsi que notre formule apéro-dinatoire, aient trouvé grâce à vos yeux.
Il est vrai que, exceptionnellement, nous avons dû nous absenter durant votre séjour. Cela reste rare, et dans ces cas-là nous restons toujours joignables pour nos hôtes, disponibles pour les conseiller et répondre à leurs questions.
Notre petit-déjeuner est l'un des points forts que nos hôtes apprécient le plus : copieux, il est composé de pains et viennoiseries issus d'une boulangerie primée de Bellême. Les éléments salés peuvent être ajoutés sur simple demande, comme indiqué sur la fiche à compléter la veille.
La Bellême Bleue est fière de s'inscrire dans la vie de son village et accueille ponctuellement différents événements au fil de l'année. Nous sommes néanmoins navrés si la présence d'un intervenant vous a gêné ; ils sont habituellement sympathiques et discrets.
Concernant l'escalier du XVIIème siècle, nous proposons systématiquement notre aide pour monter les bagages ou accompagner nos hôtes — il suffit de le demander.
Quant à la chambre Aristide Boucicaut, Bellême étant un petit village limité à 30 km/h, son caractère « passant » reste très relatif. Les fenêtres sont équipées d'un double vitrage antibruit efficace, et la chambre est appréciée par de nombreux hôtes pour son confort et son cachet.
On vous souhaite de trouver des lieux et des moments qui vous apportent plus de paix et de joie.
