Our stay was very special for us as a family. As soon as you arrive, you can feel the extraordinary atmosphere of this 12th-century property. ==History==The castle was built in the 17th century and was restored with great care and style.
Every angle tells history without sacrificing comfort. The combination of historical character and tasteful furnishings gives the place a special depth and tranquility.
Of particular note is the hospitality of the owners: warm, attentive and with a palpable sense of details that make the stay pleasant.
Especially at the start of the season at the end of March / beginning of April, the property unfolds its very own charm – quiet, authentic and embedded in the awakening landscape of Provence.
A place that delights with its versatility and is unreservedly recommended for very different guests – whether as a couple, family or those seeking peace and quiet.

A special place in Provence – we will be back
We were in Une Campagne en Provence in autumn 2025 for the end of the season – and it was just the right decision.
The complex is quiet and nestled in a vast, well-kept landscape. Especially at this time of year everything had a special atmosphere: warm light, lots of peace and an almost meditative atmosphere. You immediately notice that it is not a classic holiday resort, but a place with history and character.
Our accommodation was very pleasant, tasteful and decorated with great sensitivity – matching the surroundings. We particularly liked the size of the property: You can always find a quiet place, go for a walk or just enjoy nature. It is definitely a place where you can stay longer.
A highlight for us were the meals together. The cuisine is regional and fresh, and especially the breakfast is extremely versatile and lovingly put together. This creates a very relaxed, personal atmosphere, without it ever appearing put on.
Martina and Claude are wonderful hosts: present when you need them, and at the same time pleasantly reserved. You feel welcome, but never “looked after”.
We left with the feeling that we had discovered a special place – and will indeed be back soon: Our next stay for the 2026 season opener is already planned.

Provence at its very best.
A very special place, steeped in history and nestled in its own 160 acres of glorious provencal countryside. Our room was large with its own bath and shower. The bath was enormous and I could have lain in there for hours. Martina and Claude are charming and Martina is an absolute sweety, bustling around making sure all your needs are met. You are close to all the lovely beaches but surrounded by peace and quiet.

What a fantastic holiday
We wanted a ten day holiday that was going to be a different to the usual seaside hotels we are used to. We were not disappointed. Une Campagne En Provence is the perfect getaway. This is not the usual bed and breakfast. It is so much better. Our hosts Claude and Martina were brilliant. They sat down with us on our first day to give us the background of their large estate. They gave us helpful suggestions of places to visit and also to point out various walks we could take if we wanted. Everything is relaxed. The breakfasts were ideal and the dinners they host 4 times a week are amazing. Our appartment suited us perfectly and included a huge balcony overlooking fields, woodland and vines. The pool was essential! We realised what a great place Une Campagne En Provence is as a base. This was a holiday to really enjoy all that Provence has to offer, to stay in the perfect location and be looked after by our hosts and their team. We WILL return!

Best of Provence!
What a surprise during our French vacation! Claude & Martina were the kindest hosts and went out of their way to treat us like family. A special impromptu dinner by Martina that was so fresh & flavorful & after dinner appertifs (thyme flavored!) from Claude. The pool was so refreshing and allowed us to relax completely. Best part of our trip and we will go back someday!!!
