Offering a bar and mountain view, village vacances du camboussel is situated in Brassac, 23 km from Castres Exhibition Centre and 25 km from Goya Museum. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

Clean and Quiet Gite, Warm Welcoming, Many Activities, Pool, Superb Nature, Family Mood, Good Value
Full review of our stay (August 10 to 17) at Les Chaos – 2 adults and 2 children (3 and 5 years)
I tried to give as much detail as possible + pictures
Welcoming
We were very well received, despite a late arrival outside the scheduled times. The staff was available and friendly. Upon arrival, we received all the necessary information on the lodging, access, entertainment planning, as well as a very complete practical guide of about thirty pages.
Gite
The cottage was simple but comfortable, very clean and well equipped. We left the room to the children and slept on the sofa sofa bed, which was of good quality. The environment was calm, without noise nuisance. Quickly fixed mixer malfunction: the team was very responsive and efficient to replace it.
There are some refurbished and beautiful accommodation in the holiday village, do not hesitate to inquire.
Services
The holiday village is family-run, on a human scale, managed by a couple and their children. There are all the necessary amenities: free laundry, shady communal barbecue, new gym, city stadium (basketball/football), boules court, tennis court, ping-pong tables, pump track, swimming pool with diving board and mini pool for the little ones, children's playground and inflatable structure next to the snack bar (open 6pm/11pm).
Loan of games, books and baby equipment at Welcoming, BMX rental possible.
A Proxi supermarket is nearby, where we were also very well received
Activities
Beautiful variety of activities on offer: pool games, excursions, stretching, relaxation, archery, molkky, darts, table tennis, volleyball, football, nocturnal boules, lotto, karaoke, aperitifs... And above all a superb cabaret show, entirely made by the managers, their children and the team! Our children loved being able to open the show.
Please note: the children's club is offered from 6 years old.
⛰️ Environment
Ideally located to discover the region: many walks and hikes in the surroundings, including a beautiful walk directly accessible from the holiday village. The natural setting is superb and the overall Mood remains simple, friendly and family friendly.
The site is located in the heart of the forest and by the river, making it a very quiet and pleasant setting.
⚠️ Attention, the terrain is sloping: if you have difficulty walking, remember to ask for a level 1 cottage when booking. On the other hand, the view from the heights is magnificent and you can hear the sound of the river.
Rates
No unexpected surcharge for us, our expenses of the week (bar/snack etc) accumulate and we pay them just at the end of the stay, it is convenient!
Very good value for a week in the middle of August, usually very expensive period...
Snack bar: Reasonable prices, Fast Service and we found the food (especially burger/tapas/waffles) very good.
Note: Vacaf accepted.
Global feeling
We had a great stay and will be back with pleasure!
Next time we will choose a cottage on the 1st or 2nd level and perhaps with air conditioning in case of high heat.
We greatly appreciated the Camboussel team (Peggy, Olivier, Thomas, Stéphane, Julia, Léonie) kind, attentive and responsive.
The family-friendly and non-fussy side gives a real charm to the place. The owners, installed for only three years, are gradually renovating the site and the cottages: the improvements already achieved are visible and promise even better for the future
In summary: a simple, friendly and warm place, ideal for a family holiday.

Sidobre in May
We spent four wonderful days at the holiday village of Camboussel with our group of hikers. Peggy, Olivier welcomed us with great kindness and Julia brought her youthful touch to set the mood.
The cottages are clean, sufficient equipment, comfortable bedding and no vis-à-vis... just the noise of the Agout in the valley... a little paradise (except the weather was not mild!).
Stephane showed us around Brassac with all the passion that inhabits it. Great time.

Great holiday in the south Tarn
Super campsite nestled on 1 pretty hill.
What a pleasure to hear the sweet sound of river water.
Accommodation very well equipped and pleasant.
Brassac is a small village with amenities.
The area is full of hiking trails and places to visit (Sidobre)

Excellent for decompressing
Discover Camboussel&lalande. We stayed at the Camboussel ds le Tarn holiday village.
Superb discovery, the center is operated by a family that gives its utmost to satisfy their customers. Animations are offered daily for children and adults alike.
It is a human-sized holiday center where there is a gym, swimming pool, city sport, BMX track, there are washing machines available.
The village is surrounded by nature, there are bp of hikes to do.
Brassac, where Camboussel is located is very lively, the traders are friendly and produce quality products.
In short, all the conditions were met to decompress, discover, share, play sports.
