The Luxury and Gastronomy package is a DECEPTION

We are disappointed for the person who gifted us the Luxury and Gastronomy package. Indeed, we are accommodated in an annex with the welcome being the cards for the rooms "at the end of the hallway, 2nd floor." The room is mediocre, cold, with a view of the parking lot. Where is the LUXURY???
In the restaurant, the food is good with a decent presentation, but only one menu is offered. The prices of the drinks are too high. As for the meat, it was chuck (is this what French gastronomy is?)...
But the golf course is pleasant, the castle is imposing from a distance (although repairs are needed: large cracks on the towers), and we appreciated the kindness of some receptionists and almost all the staff, especially the bartender, the chef who came to see us, and the maître d'hôtel.
We were received much less well on all points mentioned than in some countries considered non-touristic like Myanmar, Uzbekistan, Nepal...

2nd stay. The hotel remains just as pleasant as always. Pleasant welcome and assistance to the already air-conditioned room (it's 36° outside). Beautiful, understated room. They are located in the annex of the castle. No elevator to the 2nd floor.
Despite the request made at the reservation for dinner (without response), the restaurant is reserved for a group and the terrace is not open. So dinner in the castle's lounges with an aperitif and a cheese platter. Frustrating
Decent breakfast with options on the terrace.
Prices vary greatly depending on demand or season, from the cheapest four-star chain hotel to expensive.

A horror.

Regular client, birthday, and my sister-in-law's room was not reserved. We were informed at 7 PM that we could not eat at the restaurant. No
Not enough places. Industrial breakfast rated 3 stars. No heating. 6 degrees outside. The manager who asks him to cancel my negative review on Booking. In short, never again. Since 2022, significant degradation: staff on the street. Restaurant with few regional dishes, pikeperch, bass: truly Burgundian. The wine is not good.
Terrible for a renowned wine region. And especially the bad faith of the manager. Who accuses customers of not being satisfied, and that is unacceptable. Flee. There are much better options elsewhere:

Nous regrettons que votre expérience se soit conclue ainsi et souhaitons apporter quelques précisions factuelles à votre commentaire.
La chambre que vous évoquez n’avait pas été réservée dans notre système, malgré les vérifications effectuées par nos équipes. Celles-ci ont néanmoins cherché une solution de dernière minute afin d’accueillir votre famille dans les meilleures conditions possibles.
Concernant la restauration, notre établissement propose notamment un menu entièrement dédié à la gastronomie bourguignonne, ainsi qu’une cuisine faite maison. Qualifier notre déjeuner “d’industriel” ne reflète donc pas le travail réalisé par nos équipes, ni les nombreux retours positifs reçus depuis la réouverture de notre restaurant.
Nous confirmons également avoir demandé à ne pas multiplier un même avis sur plusieurs plateformes, cette pratique pénalisant directement des équipes qui se sont pourtant mobilisées avec sérieux et professionnalisme. La personne que vous qualifiez de “gérant” était par ailleurs notre Chef de Réception, dans l’exercice normal de ses fonctions.
Nous entendons votre déception, mais regrettons le ton excessif de votre commentaire et certaines affirmations qui ne correspondent pas aux faits.

Not friendly golf director

Avoid the golf director, who is not nice at all and refuses to make any gesture; it's a shame for him, I was a potential customer, and I will never set foot in this place again

Après discussion avec notre équipe du golf, il apparaît que vous êtes venu dans le cadre d’un bon cadeau gagné lors d’une tombola.
Ce bon n’étant pas à votre nom, notre équipe aurait pu refuser l’accès au golf dès votre arrivée. Cependant, nous avons accepté de prendre en compte ce bon cadeau.
C’est à ce moment-là que vous avez indiqué à notre équipe que vous n’aviez jamais pratiqué le golf. Pour des raisons de sécurité, l’accès au parcours est strictement réservé aux golfeurs. Les personnes n’ayant jamais pratiqué ce sport ne sont donc pas autorisées à y accéder.
C’est donc cette raison qui a conduit notre équipe à vous refuser l’accès au parcours. Nous comprenons votre déception et regrettons cette situation. Toutefois, ces règles sont mises en place afin de garantir la sécurité de l’ensemble des personnes présentes sur le parcours.
