All the stresses of the journey were immediately forgotten!
We had only chosen this accommodation for one night on the way back from Spain, so we were not able to explore the surrounding area.

Run away...
We had chosen this property based on the excellent reviews about the previous owner, known for her Kindness and Warm Welcoming. Unfortunately, she moved to Bali, and her daughter now manages the place.
Our stay was short, and I want to share our experience to warn other families. We were two adults with three young children (4, 4 and 7 years old). As soon as we arrived, the hostess was very tense, tired, and obviously overwhelmed. She complained at length about her previous customers, insulting some and speaking inappropriately to us. She then showed us our room, before disappearing.
In the evening, as we calmly put our children to bed around 8pm, she came back suddenly, very angry, accusing us of making too much noise with very aggressive remarks, while our children were simply walking in the room (the parquet floor squeaks at the slightest step).
She seemed to have used medication or drugs.
I calmly indicated to him that his attitude was inappropriate, and that we were a respectful family. I told my daughter in a low voice that we would not be coming back, given the Welcoming. At that point, the hostess simply asked us to leave the premises immediately, returning our money.
The children were in their underwear, ready to sleep, and we found ourselves outside, at nightfall, with no housing solution.
I understand that running a facility can be difficult, but this has been shocking and deeply stressful for our family. I'm happy tonight to know my children away from this young girl.
I'm really not the type to leave negative reviews, but what we went through was bad enough that I felt compelled to share it. I hope that more testimonies will confirm our experience, as it does not seem to be a simple isolated incident.

Hidden gem!
The family that look after you are incredible!
The fondue dinner to die for!
And they even catered for my difficult wife (coeliac) with no hesitation!
The most amazing little place! To stop before crossing into Italy!

Little heaven on earth :)
Another great thing was that Natalie was so accomodating and cooked us spontaneously some fabulous dinner which was just the icing on the cake after an 9h trip with the car. Especially the pie in the end was just incredibly exquisite :)

Wir werden euch auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen - das nächste Mal dann mit der ganzen Familie! :)
