Ciboure room with view on the fort

Great view of the fort, welcome in autonomy, room "Socoa" very nice and comfortable with large bathroom with view. Small table on the terrace.
Perfect for one night or several days, we will gladly return

Run away…

I do not recommend this accommodation at all. The experience has been very disappointing from the very first moment.
The smell of dampness is very strong and constant throughout the stay, making it uncomfortable to remain inside. The overall feeling is one of total lack of ventilation and maintenance.
The bedding was in unacceptable condition: the sheet cover had hairs and an obvious mark that appeared to be saliva, something completely unacceptable in any accommodation advertised as suitable for guests.
Additionally, the curtains were full of mold, which not only reinforces the humidity problem but also raises serious doubts about the cleanliness and healthiness of the place.
As if that were not enough, the photos that appear on booking platforms do not reflect reality. They clearly seem retouched or digitally altered, which misleads and creates totally unrealistic expectations regarding the actual condition of the accommodation.
In summary: a very subpar experience. I would not recommend it at all and advise other travelers to think twice before booking here.

Not recommended

Dirty accommodation.
We arrived on Friday evening, the window of the room was open while there was wind more than 110km outside and a lot of rain.
The heating was off. A strong smell of moisture was present.
There were “hairs of c...” all over the white sheet, which was yellowish.
Having arrived late in the evening, we were unable to turn to another housing solution. We had trouble conditioning ourselves to sleep in this dirty bed.
The bathroom light only worked if we wedged a small piece of cardboard to hold the button in the right position.
Not all the lights were working.
In short, there is still some to tell.
The only positive point: the good position of the accommodation.

Experience that does not reflect the price of the night.

Hello, we just spent two nights. When the first one woke up, we were invaded by ants. No response from the owner despite our calls and messages, so the employee on site kindly offered us another room. Cheaper than the one we rented for two nights. We are still waiting for the owner's response for a refund of the price difference. In addition, breakfast is very light for 10€, croissant per person, bread butter, a thin slice of cake and yogurt with coffee. You really feel it's restricted. Privacy is limited due to poor insulation. I stress the positive point about the cleanliness of the room, there was nothing to say about it. For the rest many points still need to be improved including the human relationship between the owner and the customers. Here's a picture of breakfast.

Run away!

Let's start with the positive:
- the sea view
It stops there...
you enter a room that smells of humidity .. besides there are big traces in the bathroom .. a TV not very big that does not work ... a very uncomfortable bed ... not to mention we hear our room neighbors!
How nice it is to hear snoring!
the price of the room is excessive compared to the quality! c is worthy of a formula one!
Not to mention breakfast in addition for 10 euros! it is a shame for what is on offer!
