Romantic weekend

A haven of peace in this magnificent city. The Tandem house is decorated with great taste, the beautiful, quiet garden is unexpected with a very beautiful, tree-lined swimming pool.
The hosts are charming and attentive. The breakfast is delicious, varied, and hearty!
The perfect place to discover Cluny and its grandiose abbey!

An absolute gem in the heart of Cluny

This is an exceptional place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Our bedroom had a stunning city view with the garden and pool. The garden was full of butterflies and every morning we were woken to the sound of church bells and bird song. The Rue D’Avril is an historical road and we were even taken past La Maison Tandem on our guided tour. At the end of the road you encounter the most historical part of the city with the two arches overlooking the old monastery. It’s also very convenient for eating out with two excellent restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk. It’s also a great place to keep bikes if you’re interested in biking the old railway line that goes to the North and South of Cluny and includes the famous tunnel, Du Bois Clair. Cluny is also home to show jumping events which added an intriguing dimension to our visit. Most people there tended to stay for 1/2 or 3 nights but we were there a whole week and it was wonderful. Thank you Cedric and Francine and the lovely lady who looked after us so well, in your absence.

Stylish furnishings, great location

We (3 friends on the Camino de Santiago) were guests at Maison Tandem at the beginning of November. Great house, very stylish. Great room, very stylishly decorated. It was all great, starting with the welcome by the landlord. It was a pity that we could not use the great pool (November), which would have been another highlight. I will certainly come again!

Very nice guest house

Superb guest house near the center of Cluny.
Tastefully decorated and very comfortable rooms.
Personalized and quality Welcoming.
Very good experience, we will definitely come back.

Lovely villa very tastefully decorated.

We were glad we chose MAISON TANDEM. It is a stylish villa and well situated for Cluny.
Breakfast is good but just lacking finesse.
( coffee not strong enough / fruit not ripe/ not fresh orange juice) But having said that, the setting is lovely and the room was beautiful.
Had we stayed more than one night we would have used the pool.
