Wonderful attention to detail!
La Maison de Ville is a wonderful place to stay, located 20 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes from the centre. There is amazing attention to detail here and the house is tastefully decorated and has real character. Much more personal and cosy than a uniform, soulless hotel room. Breakfast was amazing and you only need to see the pictures to understand why. Sophie and her husband were extremely friendly and my questions (via Booking.com) were answered swiftly.
Normally this would be a five star review all the way. Unfortunately, the amazingly late check-in of 4.30pm did lose a star. The normal check-in time is 5.30pm! I’ve never encountered such a late check in during my many years traveling around the world. Sometimes, after a long journey it’s nice to check-in earlier. The room was also a little cold but this was only a minor issue. This was by far the best stay on my trip around France and the best breakfast. An earlier check-in would help enormously!

Calme et authenticité
Charmante maison de ville (comme son nom l'indique...) élégamment décorée et située dans une rue calme à deux pas du château. Hôtesse accueillante et sympathique. Bon petit déjeuner. Seul petit bémol : la salle de bain n'était pas au même étage que notre chambre.
