Antoine is so friendly and helpful. Our Uber didn't arrive so he took us to the train station himself!

Charming guest house with an equally charming host, excellent value.

We had a truly exceptional stay at La Villégiature. The Suite Familiale was charming, spacious and excellent value — perfect for the three of us. Breakfast was a real highlight: a generous spread of both continental and cooked options, beautifully presented each morning. Antoine's hospitality was on another level: he was flexible and thoughtful around our timing on a difficult day, gave us wonderful local recommendations throughout our stay, and even offered my husband the use of his own office for early morning business calls, simply so he wouldn't disturb the rest of the family while we slept. It's exactly the kind of thoughtfulness that sums Antoine up — genuinely charming, generous, and it's clear how much pride he takes in making his guests feel well looked after. We'll be back, and recommend this place wholeheartedly

Excellent experience

In a very nice house, close to the city center, Antoine welcomed us warmly and gave us advice
The whole house is decorated with great taste in the spirit of vitage.
We spent a quiet night overlooking the cathedral.
The garden is a haven of peace with hens.
Breakfast is hearty with sweet and savoury (cheese , ham, fresh fruit , pastries, good bread and pancakes)
I highly recommend this address.

Warm, relaxed, with flair and chic

Highly recommended bed&breakfast!
The location is in an enchanted garden with driveway (and parking!) and various pretty resting places. The rooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated individually, with very good beds and showers. In the correspondingly beautiful breakfast room you are taken care of privately by Antoine and his team. And in Normandy weather, there's a big living room with a fireplace in the foyer.
And by the way, Coutances is a Normandy picture-book town - and not to be overrun, an ideal location for exploring the Manche.
We will come back!

Fantastic Experience!

This beautiful house is very well located just outside of Coutances and near beaches on the coast. The property is lovely with mature trees, and flowers. The interior is charming, the rooms are tastefully renovated to modern standards. The beds were very comfortable and had nice linens. The large living room was comfortable and the perfect spot for gathering. The dining area is bright and the breakfasts were delicious with lots of cheese, ham, croissants, breads, fruit, juices, jams, fresh eggs and freshly made crepes being a nice surprise. The friendly owner Antoine was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Be sure and enjoy a meal prepared by him. He’s a wonderful chef! Staying here was a wonderful experience!
