Very positive points but room for improvement

Spent 3 weeks of treatment at Borda 2 residences in a one-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor.
Some major positive points that are not negligible but... first of all, while the view from the 3rd floor is pleasant, you should know that the greenery is on the other side and the apartment is on a very busy street, especially in the morning.
However, we really appreciated the cleanliness of the place, the excellent bedding, and the air conditioning, which is essential during a heatwave, even if for the one-bedroom apartment it is placed opposite the bedroom in the large room near the French door (which is well cooled!). Also includes a Nespresso coffee machine, a microwave, a small dishwasher, and a tabletop fridge. The bathroom has a large shower (no curtain or door???). The toilet is separate.
The most pleasant part is the tunnels (despite their excessive heat) that connect the residence to the thermal baths and the "thermal campus" with a mini-market and a pleasant restaurant on-site. The reception is handled by 2 professional and friendly people at Borda 1.
Possibility also to park outside or inside with a dedicated area for bikes.
So, many positive points BUT
One-bedroom apartment with a lot of wasted space, hospital-style decor (red line on the floor, white walls), and a poorly designed micro-kitchen. The 2nd person eats with drawers to their left, and the trash can and balcony door to their right. Furthermore, the manager should put himself in the shoes of his spa-guest clientele; the microwave is too high—ouch, my arms (and it doesn't function as an oven), the fridge is a tabletop model, much too small for 2 (what is the point of providing rolling carts for the market if, upon returning, you can't put anything in the fridge, especially when there is a heatwave). Moreover, for the spa guest who has mobility problems, you have to hurt your back by bending down or sit on the floor and get back up with a winch to fill or empty the fridge... and Mr. Manager, I am not exaggerating; it is no longer a luxury to have taller fridges in rentals, and there is no point in ridiculing those who have already made the same observation to you at the welcome meeting.
On the other hand, multiple dishes that are too large are useless.
In conclusion, I would say that the positive and highly appreciated services are charged very dearly because it is the most expensive residence connected to the thermal baths.

I am currently at the Terrasses for treatment and I am smoked by the cigarettes of the neighbors on the floor below.

Studio neighbors who smoke from morning to evening during the three weeks of treatment. Terrible!!!!! Management must make efforts to resolve the smoking problem in the studios. Authorizing cigarettes on balconies means permanent inconvenience to neighbors, a serious problem which the Terraces management should take into account quickly. Who to protect? the clients who come for treatment to take care of their health, or those who destroy it, theirs and that of their neighbors by smoking from morning to evening?

The hotel were great at communication until they went home, arriving after reception hours we couldnt get hold of the out of hours caretaker, called hotels.com to help and eventually had to ask the restaurant to help find him. Once we found him he was great and was a big help.
Room was spacious and they had made up the sofa bed for us in advance. The aircon was in the living room and not the large bedroom where it was needed. Good size balcony and kitchen had great facilties. TV didnt work much to disappointment of the kids.
Restaurant was great, food and staff.
Still cobwebs and spiders in the corners of the bathroom so not as clean as it originally looks, and i was bitten ten times on the leg (v large bites) by bugs in the night.
We needed to check out early and no one was there at reception to help, so we left the keys on the desk and left.

We booked the hotel in a first instance because it showed in the website with a pool, but when we got there around 17h30, it was already closed, until 14h the next day. It was a bit of deception for the kids...
However, the people at the reception was really helpful and willing to help us!
The apartment was clean and with everything to have a good stay.

L’endroit est calme. Les accès sont faciles. Le personnel est très sympathique.
