Indescribable

It's been six years now? The little oasis of frederic has become a must on our way to the Atlantic. Its warm Welcoming, its carefully decorated rooms, its wonderful breakfast with homemade jams and garden, a little gem that always welcomes us warmly. In 4 weeks, we will be back, dear Frédérique, and we look forward to welcoming you all.

Idyllic B&B

Very friendly host, beautiful old farmhouse with gardens. Quiet area not far from Honfleur. Breakfast with so many home made confitures and lively bread.

A wonderful stopover and deserves a longer stay.

If ever anywhere was to be described as an oasis of tranquility this is it. A lovely traditional house with an excellent host(ess).
We had the garden room which has a good size seating area with sliding door access to the small terrace and large garden. We had previously booked dinner and this was served on the private terrace and was excellent (wine is available).
We had two dogs and the room was very dog friendly. Frederica has chickens roaming the garden so dogs have to be on leads at all times. The property is on a quiet lane so an evening stroll is no problem.
In addition to the chickens Frederica has cats in the house so we put our dogs in the car whilst we indulged in an excellent breakfast with more home made jam choices then I've ever seen before.

Rural idol ...

The roads just kept getting smaller and smaller as we approached this B&B, which put us well and truly in a very rural setting. We noticed the local houses were all a medieval Tudor style, with chunky wood frames, thatched roofs from which flowers grew on the roofline. Frederica’s house was beautiful as was her garden. It really looks like a film set its so rustic. Our room was comfortable with all the bear essentials, but wifi was patchy.
We breakfasted in Fredrica’s kitchen, which showed the amazing open-plan chic style of the house. We were treated to her homemade preserves which were tasty and other continental breakfast goodies. Communication was stilted as neither of us was fluent in each others' language. But we managed!
The price we paid was extremely reasonable given the quality and service we received. A fantastic start to our French road-trip. Be ware, if you have a low suspension car, there's a sharp gate hinge on the steep drive which needs to be avoided.
Highly recommended, book direct with her for the best rate.

Endroit magnifique, calme et reposant, tout est fait avec beaucoup de goût, accueil chaleureux.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent, fait maison avec des confitures surprenantes.
