We loved our stay here

What a delightfully quirky, beautiful and stylish house Jianghua and Rémy have. They have just two rooms, ours was the White Room and was huge. A super large bed, tea and coffee and a bathroom next door. The garden was delightful and we spent an hour or so as the sun went down, sitting out just relaxing after a day out.
The breakfast was a pièce de résistance. The tablescape was beautifully styled. All silver and black on the first morning and green and pink on the second, with flowers from the garden to match the colours of the crockery. There was fresh fruit, eggs made to order, croissants, bread, home made jam, sweet cake …. I’m salivating thinking of it. They have thought of everything and seem to genuinely care for their guests.
There is free parking 2 minutes walk away. Gasny is only a few miles from Giverny and Monet’s garden and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here; I couldn’t imagine that anyone would be disappointed. Note that if you are booking direct, they do not have a card machine so either transfer € beforehand or bring cash.

Charming

My husband and I very much enjoyed our recent stay. The owners were very welcoming and our suite was comfortable and romantic. The breakfast was both delicious and beautifully presented. Even though chilly we enjoyed utilizing the lovely garden area and even brought our dinner back to relax and enjoy after a busy travel day.

Everything is perfect here!

What a nice surprise to discover your B&B: a charming house, so well decorated, the owners adorable and intentional, a large room (the white suite) perfect and very quiet on the garden, an extraordinary breakfast that could easily rival those of the biggest hotels! Jams made with the fruits of the garden. And the mirabelles...
Bravo, we will come back, just to enjoy all this again!

Charming house in the heart of the village, great breakfast

Gasny is a small village in Normandy (!) close to Giverny. The Agapanthes are therefore an accommodation often chosen by foreigners on pilgrimage with Monet. This old house has undergone a major restoration and benefited from a refined decoration work. The rooms are upstairs, a little low ceiling but quite large and well equipped. The shower room of ours was a little cramped with a flat still the plastic shower curtain that closed the shower. This point must undoubtedly be reviewed. Full breakfasts of high quality served in a dining room wide open to the garden. Excellent breads and pastries from the good baker located a stone's throw away, homemade garden fruit jams, honey, homemade cake, fresh fruit salad orange juice, cold cuts , cheese and eggs on request. Welcoming attentive and warm. A very pleasant step.

Friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast! Great garden.

The two gentlemen welcomed us very friendly and were also very helpful with regard to restaurant recommendations. Rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished. The garden is huge and very well maintained. Special mention should be made of the exceptional breakfast with many jams, which had been made from fruits from the garden itself, at a great laid table. The freshly prepared fruit salad and egg dishes were further highlights.
