Beautiful hotel by the lake, but...
Room 15, on the ground floor: Room with a loft bed and a small living room: 2 armchairs, a coffee table, a small flat-screen TV whose channels are not up to date. A second TV in the loft would not be too much, and possibly a sofa in the living room! Free high-speed Wi-Fi. Two large chairs and a table along the wall with a welcome tray (tea, coffee, kettle). Large bay window with a view of the river. Daylight is well obstructed by 2 electric roller shutters. Be careful, no sheer curtains, you can be seen from outside, do not walk around in light clothing. Air conditioning available. You can even receive visits from Canada geese and two very affectionate cats. Small terrace in front of the bay window with a view of a body of water, a table, and 2 chairs (which we avoided sitting in as they were ready to break). Fairly spacious bathroom, bathtub, toilet seat, sink, 2 dispensers of gel, shampoo, hairdryer. Double bed at the top of the stairs, medium size, 2 reading lights on each side of the bed, 2 large pillows. 2 blankets and a safe located in a wardrobe. Be careful not to lean too much on the wobbly wooden railings. Option to have a breakfast buffet for €11.50 and to have meals in the restaurant right next door. Nights and stays were very quiet overall. We had a good stay at this establishment.

Very disappointing

Huge disappointment.
The air conditioning did not work during the heatwave! The hairdryer did not work either. Safety standards were not respected: staircase leading to the mezzanine is not secure, mezzanine is not secure, balcony is not secure. Overall, everything is outdated and does not deserve a three-star rating.

A catastrophe
We booked 2 nights. Thursday followed by Saturday. Wishing to stay with family, we were able to have the first night a family room. When we settled in, we noticed that the heating was working very hard and that the handle to regulate was on the floor. It was this Thursday, May 29, it was hot...
We report the problem to the reception and leave to spend the evening with friends. The hotel calls us back because they only have one key to this room and cannot enter.
Forced to return to the hotel in the middle of the evening to deposit the key
Finally we are called back to tell us that the product for degripping smells bad and we are offered to move to 2 other rooms (because no other family room available). Or...
We separate our 2 children of 13 and 15 years who will sleep on their side. In a room that, we learn the next day, did not lock. Indeed, from the inside the closing system was running in a vacuum.
Before leaving the hotel, we check that everything is ok for booking 5 out of 2 rooms (family room not available on this date) for the following Saturday (i.e. the next day) warning that we would arrive late (getaway to disney).
And asking to have lakeside rooms, not like the night we just spent. Because you should know that not all rooms overlook the lake.
We arrive on Saturday evening at 12:30, the keys were at the reception as agreed.
And there, the 2 bedrooms had a single bed each. So we were supposed to sleep with our 9-year-old daughter (?) and our 2 teens were supposed to sleep in the same bed...
I had made reservations for 5 however specifying the ages of the children. And one of the rooms was planned for 3. And we were there 2 nights before!
We get to contact someone who sends us the maintenance man to bring us an extra bed. Who will be kindly charged 40€ after making us understand that we had tried to spin to have an extra bed!
Faced with our dissatisfaction, we are offered breakfast on our next visit. Knowing we were being charged this time. As my children would say "LOL"
It was not our first stay because we have friends in Itteville and it is very convenient.
But now...
The hotel doesn't deserve its 3 *** anymore. His only asset was the view of the lake which is actually very beautiful (when you have a room overlooking it). Everything else goes into complete decrepitude.
There is water infiltration everywhere, the taps are changed but the holes of the previous one are not refilled, there are elements that are removed and whose trace is still visible, the soap holder was broken, the 2nd bedroom of my children only locked (the bolt no longer came out) when the first one did not lock at all...the ashtray was not emptied...
Anyway!
A disaster. It's a shame to see this establishment so poorly maintained.

Nous vous remercions d’avoir pris le temps de partager votre expérience, même si nous sommes sincèrement désolés de lire votre déception.
Nous tenons tout d’abord à rappeler quelques éléments de votre séjour afin d’éclaircir certains points :
Pour la nuit du 30 au 31 mai, ce sont bien deux chambres doubles avec vue principale qui ont été réservées de votre côté, et que nous avons mises à disposition comme prévu.
Concernant la nuit du 29 au 30 mai, la réservation indiquait 2 adultes et 3 enfants de moins de 6 ans, alors que les enfants étaient en réalité âgés de 13, 15 et 9 ans. Une déclaration exacte dès la réservation aurait permis une meilleure anticipation de vos besoins.
Malgré cela, nous avons souhaité faire un geste en vous surclassant gratuitement en chambre triple avec vue principale, pour permettre à un des enfants de rester avec les parents, tout en vous fournissant une solution sans frais supplémentaires dans un contexte de disponibilité très limitée.
Nous comprenons que le dysfonctionnement de chauffage et le problème de serrure aient pu affecter votre confort, et soyez assuré que ces points ont bien été signalés à notre service technique pour traitement immédiat.
Enfin, concernant le lit d’appoint facturé 40 €, cette facturation est appliquée dans le cas où la capacité initialement réservée est dépassée. Cela étant, nous comprenons que la situation ait pu prêter à confusion, et nous regrettons si cela vous a donné l’impression d’un manque de considération.
Nous espérons malgré tout que vous retiendrez la vue sur le lac, que vous avez justement appréciée, ainsi que notre volonté de trouver des solutions même dans l’urgence.
Soyez assuré que nous prenons votre retour très au sérieux et que des actions sont engagées pour améliorer la maintenance de l’établissement.

Very good stay in a very friendly atmosphere and in a very peaceful place 1 hour from Paris
The room with a balcony overlooking the pond is very quiet for both eyes and serenity of mind
The breakfast buffet is very good , the staff at the reception always smiling
The only problem was the non-existent Wi-Fi service, I think that this problem will be solved very quickly and in a way it felt good to disconnect from this world of technology
For on we will come back very quickly

Cela nous fait vraiment plaisir de savoir que vous avez passé un beau séjour chez nous, au calme, dans une ambiance qui vous a permis de vous ressourcer.
La vue sur l’étang, le petit-déjeuner, l’accueil de notre équipe… savoir que tout cela a contribué à votre bien-être nous touche profondément. On met beaucoup de cœur dans ce que nous faisons, alors lire vos mots est une vraie récompense
Nous sommes désolés pour le souci de Wi-Fi, et vous avez raison : parfois, se déconnecter un peu, ça fait aussi du bien. Cela dit, nous travaillons bien sûr à l’amélioration de ce point pour que tout soit au top lors de votre prochaine visite
