A place in the serenity of the Haut Doubs

Beautiful setting in this former Comtoise farmhouse, right in the middle of the Haut-Doubs countryside. Very friendly welcome. Family-style cuisine and service, both perfectly acceptable.
Room that has retained its old character. 6 rooms, 6 different settings.
I highly recommend it!

A place full of charm

Still under the spell of this Hostel which has nothing to envy to a 3 star Pension! In this place where the rooms are beautiful and incomparable cleanliness, we also appreciate a simple but oh how quality food based on tasty products. The welcome is very warm and the Owner with little care. It's a shame she'll soon be ending her activity! We hope that his successors will be able to perpetuate this kindness and this particular care to offer the best cured meats for which the region is renowned. We wish our guest to be able to find after his thirteen years in this place a new fulfilling professional adventure. Thank you very much to her for her thoughtful advice and our exchanges across borders.

Very nice hotel

The exterior doesn't look much, but it's an excellent address for both the hotel and restaurant areas. The room we occupied was spacious, clean, refurbished and had a beautiful bathroom with a large walk-in shower. It is worth much more than the ** allocated by the Tourist Office. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is the place to go! As for the restaurant, the room is large, made of stone, the service efficient and the dishes good and above all very generous. Dessert, crème brulée with something to die for! The wine list is not expensive. Well done.

Nice place, good quality of food .... BUT ..

Good value for money ..... good food ... nice place .... BUT ... BUT ...
Celebrated the bday of a member of the family at this Auberge, party of 23 persons. Correct and good quality of food but disasterous quality of service ... the manager (owner???) of the resto was the only one to serve the 23 persons party which seems a bit underestimated in terms of stuff to me ... hence everything I asked was a problem ...
last moment change - simple aperitif outside instead of inside ... uffff 0k, will do it if you insist.... there is no more water ? Really??? Non alcoholic drinks for kids? More wine ??? I did not notice ... Uffff ....everything you ask and what seems to be a standart anywhere else seems to be an issue here ....
Go if you are somewhere around and need to eat, avoid if you are bigger group ....
