Charming hotel with very helpful and friendly staff.

This hotel and the staff are charming. Our room was spacious,the bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a feast of fresh pastries and bread, local jams, cheeses and hams. The hot drinks machine was available anytime and teapots were provided so we could make a pot of tea after a day out.

Great location but this hotel has poor management, and a bit disorganized

Arrived on Monday, May 11, 2026, drove from Bayeux to Lille. Found underground public parking two blocks from the hotel as they do not have their own parking. This is a great central location. We were at the hotel desk at 2:30 PM, but they said, cannot check in until 3 PM... really? only a half hour difference. Came back at 3 PM, and she said the room was ready, and that we were getting an upgrade, great! Though the room was #301, but actually 4 flights up from street level. No elevator, so had to drag luggage up 3 more flights on stairs.. no hotel help offered. When we got to the room, it was not made up, towels laying on the floor, bed messed up. I went back to the desk and told her. She researched some more and said, "another upgrade for you". This time it was #202. Drag luggage on stairs again. This room was larger, curved walls, right on the corner of the building. 5 windows, smaller bed and couch, AC in the room. All nice with black out shades for all the windows.... except 2 of the curtains would not raise up, mechanisms broken. Breakfast included, but a very small BF room and not very good. I would not recommend this place, not worth the price.

Great, very well located.

Super great, the room is very well located in the corner with a view of several lively streets, yet quiet as no noise is heard with the windows closed. The blackout curtains allow for sleeping in. Air conditioning, phone, coffee maker, television, and very pleasant and responsive staff as soon as we call them. I would return without any problem, requesting the same room.

Central location and close to the restaurants and main point of interest but

Well located, inexpensive, good breakfast but very average service.

Located in the city center, close to parking (approx. 25USD/night).
No elevator. Reception is on the first floor. Our room was on the 2nd floor (room 215). Quite a few stairs to get there. Be cautious if you do not have the appropriate physical condition.
The room was not very clean upon our arrival: hair in the bathroom, dust on the few pieces of furniture, glass marks on the nightstands, fingerprints on the TV screen.
The bathroom could use a good refresh. The shower is in poor condition. It is impossible to fix the showerhead.
The room is also very small.
The breakfast is rather good. Be aware, there are only about 15 seats while the hotel has more than 25 rooms.
In any case, at 130USD a night for 2, right in the center, with breakfast included, it does the job.
