Clean and well presented modern boutique hotel. We were disappointed when we had to wait longer than we were originally told to check in, with the reception staff stating they had a busy night the night before and all rooms hadn’t been cleaned yet. However, for this inconvenience they gave us a complimentary drink each to have at the bar next to the pool area.
The hotel set the AC to 22 degrees Celsius and it was centrally controlled by them. It was very warm in our room at times because we couldn’t lower the AC temperature, and so we had to ask for a stand alone fan which helped cool us down.
Stand out helpful staff were Thibault and Eugenie who were accommodating when we asked if we could leave our bags in the hotel 2 days after checking out (once we returned from another hotel further down the coast). This was very helpful as we had an evening flight but wanted to explore Nice some more without dragging our bags around.
Having Nice Riquier train station a few minutes walking distance was very handy and prior to arrival we did not know about this and assumed we would have had to have walked to a Nice Ville to catch the train. Great trip from Thibault!

Very good overall

We stayed there for one night, before going on vacation in Provence, since our flight arrived in the evening in Nice.
We were traveling with a 10-month-old baby, and we arrived around midnight.
The welcome was warm, the staff was charming.
The room was nice, even if a bit small for a couple with a baby (Large Mama Double category).
However, we had warned several times that we were traveling with a baby and that we needed a crib. Even the front desk at check-in assured us that it was ready in the room. And actually, no. We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to bring us a crib for the baby. It was annoying because we arrived late and in the end we went to bed at 1 a.m. - we could have done without that.
My advice - call ahead to insist that it be ready upon your arrival if you have a baby who needs to sleep when you arrive.
The hotel has a parking lot but it is cheaper to park on the street.
The bathroom was worn (black grout) even though the hotel is new - it’s disappointing, it looks dirty. It’s easy to clean, though!!

Je suis vraiment désolée que vous ayez dû attendre le lit bébé + de 30 minutes, il aurait dû être installé avant votre arrivée. Et je vous prie également de nous excuser pour les joints noirs qui ne devraient pas l'être. Nous allons en discuter avec les équipes de l'hébergement et trouver des solutions pour que cela n'arrive plus.

Especially the welcome and the kindness.

Short stay but completely corresponding to what was planned. Small pluses: the kindness of the staff and the strict adherence to the conditions. Small minuses: the charging stations that do not work.

Amazing stay for a group trip

⭐ Option 1: Polished & Warm (your vibe)
Mama Shelter Nice were absolutely incredible hosts for our group of nine women on a hen party. We emailed quite a lot beforehand and their response time was unbelievably quick — every reply was helpful, friendly and made planning so much easier.
The hotel, bar and restaurant staff were all amazing throughout our stay and genuinely tried to accommodate us at every moment. They even arranged early access to one of our rooms and let us use the facilities for the whole of our last day, which made such a difference.
The location is great too — everywhere we wanted to go was only about a €10 Uber away. If I come back to Nice, I’ll definitely stay here again.
We absolutely loved the décor across the pool, restaurants and rooftop. It’s such a gorgeous setting for pre‑drinks and photos — perfect for a hen weekend. Highly recommend.

The room was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the hotel itself had a stylish and elegant atmosphere. The rooftop pool and café were absolutely fantastic and a real highlight of our stay.
Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was the complete opposite. The service was incredibly rude and disappointing. The staff were arrogant, unfriendly, and largely absent. I would rate the breakfast service 1 out of 6. It was genuinely frustrating, especially since every other aspect of our stay was so enjoyable.
