Good experience

Hotel very well located, very quiet.
The person at the front desk and restaurant service was very pleasant.
The meals are good
I recommend this place but they will need to think about installing A/C... Even though a fan was at our disposal in the room.

Disgusting service

I booked this hotel through Expedia, I booked 2 rooms for one night, to break our journey in half. When we arrived at the hotel they informed us that they only had one room available even though I had my confirmation from Expedia for 2rooms. Unfortunately this was unacceptable, we tried to get rooms at other hotels but they were all fully booked so we ended up having to drive another 5 hours to our final destination, we arrived at 2.30 in the morning. We are both in our seventies so found doing the whole journey in one go very exhausting.
When I contacted Expedia and Campanile the next day they were both very unhelpful and said that they were unable to offer me a refund but they would offer me a £25 in OneKeyCash (whatever that is ?) as a gesture of goodwill.
I will never use Expedia or Campanile again.

Need a refreshment!

An old Campanile that needs a real refresh. The famous "green key" is the password of this hotel! Which tends not to be explained to you upon your arrival... You stay several days: no cleaning, the same towels never changed, bed not made... however, the room rate does not decrease! The air conditioning is an old fan that does not work very well. During these heatwave periods, just pass by. However, the restaurant is decent even if a bit expensive. So for a short stay, why not, otherwise try to find elsewhere...

Staff were very friendly & helpful during our stay
breakfast was continental plenty of choice
on site restaurant with good choice of meals.

Never stayed anywhere so poor

Having used one of these hotels a few weeks ago, we thought the standard would be the same. It is very uninviting, and is in desperate need of a refurbishment. The bathroom in particular, did not appear clean. However, the food was good and the staff in Reception/dining room were very cheerful and polite. Definitely would not recommend a stay here. It needs to be closed and refreshed.
